“A jewel for my jewel,” Thief purred, coming up from behind to drape the sapphire pendant around Villain’s neck.

Villain grinned, whirling in their seat and immediately holding out their cupped hands. “A bug for my bug!”

“…” Thief grimaced. “Ok, you’re weirdly adorable, but get that thing away from me right now.”
