Day 1 - Introduction

Day one of @rayadraws 's OC-tober!

I really love these two :33 I have other OCs but I'll probably mainly use them for this event. Infodump about them under the cut :3

Kuroko is the spirit of a little girl that was was cursed by a kitsune spirit to have her hair turned into ink and to forever live in a doll body, she's hoping that Zenko will help her have a real body again, despite their differences.

Zenko is the child of a good kitsune and a human, they hope that learning from Kuroko they will be able to be a 'real spirit' and cut ties with their human half. Despite wanting to distance themselves from the human realm, Zenko despises other spirits for their treatment of them, often being outsmarted or tricked into traps.

They're both caught inbetween not being human nor spirit enough to fit into either society, one wishing they could reach a humanity long gone and the other wanting to be the unattainable epitomy of a 'real spirit'

After Kuroko was decieved by the mischevious kitsune, she fell into a deep slumber and woke up to her house and family long gone. After that, she wandered the forest until she found a ramshackle place to rest in, far enough from normal city life that she could pass undetected but close enough to be able to go to school and continue a relatively 'normal' life, as normal of a life as an ink-filled puppet could live.

In that same forest is where Zenko tries and struggles to live, sleeping in temples and hunting whatever prey they can find, though they don't like killing humans at all. They have resorted to turning into a fox to steal food from farms and markets sometimes, though they dislike doing it, they'd rather not have to escape from a cage again. Their attempts to make friends with other gods and spirits have mostly backfired, either bringing about their anger or being decieved into bad deals. Kuroko let them live in their home when they became aware of their situation.
