Turns out oxygen can be poisonous to human too in some cases like in oxygen therapy and breathing in pure oxygen is literally poison so maybe it has to be based on that?? (I had to research this and I'm bound to be wrong) and maybe it affects their nervous system and pulmonary system but I still think the above because it's very possible

I also had this thing on my Google drive also that bc the creatures are so big and the people are so small is because the planet of pnf 404 has so much oxygen and it's like the theory of how bugs got big in the dinosaur age

Also I think how the ships crashed is because of meteor physics honestly, not used to handling earths atmosphere like what the HELL is a carbon based atmosphere

what's your ideas of how oxygen is poisonous to the Pikmin universe? My thoughts are that they can't process some forms of carbon and air particles and quickly get carbon monoxide poisoning and it very quickly becomes fatal because of their small size

I also think that Pikmin eat through the top of their head bc that's how flowers get their nutrients kinda like this
