i watch the game awards every year (not because they're good, mind you. because they're 1000% not) and every year i hope for a wild "you had to have been there" moment on the level of the joker persona 5 smash reveal in 2018, or the sephiroth smash reveal and red vs blue fortnite announcement happening on the same night in 2020. and every year i am left disappointed.
