My plan for improving my painting skills:

> painting A LOT

> every 10 paintings I buy myself some potential upgrade that, in theory, should help me improve my skills. That includes 1) better and more diverse brushes, 2) a sketchbook made with actual aquarelle paper, 3) white acrylic paint which can paint on top of dry aquarelle, so I could paint the stars and other small bright elements in the way I have always been used to, 4) ultimately, I want to switch to acrylic paint completely, which is going to be a tough one as I've only used gouache and aquarelle so far in my life

i'm so glad I switched back to traditional art i'd had art block for two years now the best investment ever watercolor painting this sketchbook is filled with joy drink every time you see some form of the word 'paint' in this post
