"you are getting married. your parents have already set you up for an arranged marriage! how could you say you like me?"

"do you want me to get married?" he asks, not even looking at you now.

"i thought about ways to get rid of this marriage, and finally be with you. but, are you even willing to fight against everyone… for us?"

clenching your hands together, you shut your eyes tightly. you need to do this now.

"no, i don't want to fight for us. i want you to get together with someone who's better than me. you'll have a much better life."

he looks at you completely shocked.

how could you say something like that?

better than you? but you're the best partner anyone could ever have.
