synopsis: life as we know it (2010 film) au | when an unexpected accident leaves you and your blind date from five years ago to become caretakers of your mutual goddaughter, you are forced to learn how to navigate parenthood all while trying to balance work and social life.
a/n: writing the mini series gave me so much joy and I'm so glad I was able to go back and revisit these characters after almost 4 months since its ending. I think I was able to close a majority of the loose ends in this mini series (jihoon going to grad school, jihoon's relationship with his goddaughter, chan's relationship in ch45, jeonghan finding love [much deserved], vernon and chan getting their phds...). comments/reviews are always much appreciated 💖

Okay, so I’d like to start of by saying, THAT ENDING HAS ME STARING AT MY SCREEN FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF MINUTES TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. I’m very angry towards Jin and Joon, especially joon (like dude, you’re best friends with the reader), how could you?! Hoseok too, like dude, I’m disappointed in you. We were all rooting for you three, but alas y’all had to go and ruin it. SMH 😡On a more personal note, I relate to the reader and how she worries about her future. She got into a great grad school, but she wasn’t expecting her life to change so drastically. Education comes first, but sometimes life just throws you off guard, and you’re left to adjust to the new norm. Yoongi was cute and I’d like to have a friend like him irl. (WE STAN YOONGI IN THIS HOUSEHOLD) as he could do no wrong. You’re a great writer and this fic just proves it. I’d say that NO ONE was expecting the ending to turn out the way it did. BIGGEST PLOT TWIST OF THE CENTURY. My heart really breaks for Tae because while he wasn’t abandoned, he did have a shelter, even though it wasn’t the best. The ending allows me to think of the future such as will Tae and the reader be separated? Is it actually possible for the reader to end up being pregnant? What made Namjoon betray the reader like that? How did Hoseok, Namjoon, and Seokjin get involved in this mess? The ending leaves many opportunities for there to be open interpretations, which I love (even though I kind of want to know what happens) This was truly a great fic to read, and now it’s time for me to take a quick nap and process what I just read because I still can’t get over that ending 😭

im about to be a lil spicy here but i don’t think there is anything wrong with people who are into rp solely to make fun little ships. we are all sitting on silly website held together by duct tape writing writing fanfic and making up original short stories with people across the world. and i mean this in the most positive way, it literally does not matter at all. it affects no one except you and your writing partners. coming onto tumblr solely for specific kinds of threads or dynamics is no different than filling your book shelf with one genre or trope because it’s your escapism from the world. it’s a hobby. if your blog is a romance blog, good on you. if your blog is a horror blog, bring on the spooks. if your blog is an angsty whump fest, boy do i feel that. it’s for you. it’s your way to blow off steam and cope with the world. it does not matter (positive).
