Just some thoughts and rambling about the enlistment. After the Live and all the information that came out, what bothers me is why only JK and JM signed up for the buddy system? Based on what JK said in the Live about him wanting to join Special Force like Tae. I know it's due to his tattoos, but why couldn't he have enlisted on his own? I mean, his members and other men are entering as solo military personnel.

It makes me wonder if the company pushed for JK to sign up for the buddy system with JM. Why them and not the other members? It's obvious the company is trying to push this narrative for fans, and we can see the effects it's having with people celebrating it as a "win" and whatnot. It feels like to me that the company wanted JK to enlist with Jimin to keep this narrative alive. Or maybe trying to paint this picture that they need each other, even during enlistment.

Obviously, we don't know the details and the decisions they made, and we'll never know, but optic wise...

While others are celebrating and thinking this is proof of their relationship, it's not. What some are failing to see and understand is that North and South Korea are technical still at war with each other. They are entering as active military personnel, meaning if the North and South goes to war, they go to war too. This isn't some vacation they're going on. They are training for war and combat. This will be their jobs for the next 18 months. They will not have private time to themselves. They will be surrounded by other men and people around them ALL THE TIME. Eyes will be on them. Not to mention that same sex relationships are ILLEGAL!!

Why on earth would an actual couple think it would be a good idea to enlisted together to spend time with each other? Why risked their lives and livelihood on this? Of all things to risk? Some of y'all need to put on the thinking cap and think for once. Be reasonable and logical about this matter. Ain't no celebration about this situation.

Ok, I think I'm done with my rant/rambling 😬 Gonna be hard times for the time being, but it'll get better. Just keep believing and trusting.

Not everything is company propaganda. Geez you all need to stop thinking illogical things here. If you really believe that them going together doesn't prove that they are a couple then why is it bothering you so much? I seriously doubt that shipping and shippers play any role in such huge decisions for anyone. This "company" thing is a coping mechanism of many tkkrs. Bh's role is just limited to content. So they will belt out as much jikk content as possible but I think that's where bh's meddling ends.

You all need to accept the fact that jk and jm are friends. Yes they aren't as close as tkk. Or even yoonmin. But since jk can't go with tae his next option will obviously be jm. Let's not act like jikkrs and pretend that he isn't close to jm like they have this narrative that jk and tae aren't close. Why they chose buddy system is something only they know. We know don't know shit about their personal lives to be speculating anything.

Looking at jk's face when he mentioned that he wanted to join the special forces it's clear that he did really want to but couldn't. Now jikkrs are trying every possible way to try and negate what jk said.

As you yourself have said that a queer couple wouldn't want to go to that homophobic place where they'll def have a constant spotlight on them since they are BTS. They will be constantly surrounded by people so it's not like they'll have any private time together.

So what if some people might think that "jikk can't live apart"? This has been the official stance since past many years. The people who do believe this will keep on believing it. Majority of fd believes that tkk aren't even friends. Does that change anything?

I think this is bothering you this much mainly bcs of jikkrs. They have become insufferable and it's testing everyone's patience. Just stay away from stan twitter and jikk spaces for atleast a few weeks. These past few have hard for everyone and I think we all need to take a break and clear our heads.

Appreciate your input. I don't even venture onto that other ship on X or even on here. What little info I get is from other tumblers I follow. I understand that not everything is company propaganda. You're correct we don't know the discussions they had and what plans they set forth for during this time period. Maybe it was a strategic plan to have everyone complete their service around June 2025. At the end of the day, this pause is only temporary. The goal is to complete it and get back to normal life and activities ASAP.

I don't have friends IRL to discuss these things with. I come here to vent and share my thoughts because it's a space for me to do so. I'm following like-minded people who believe in what I believe. So far, it's been good.

Yes, deep breaths, everyone! Once they're gone, things will settle down and be calm once again.

I've seen most US ARMY denouncing shipping, all shipping, but mostly taekook ship. They always used the excuse of the guys are brothers and they love each other (which is true) and how they interact with each other are based on brotherly love. Nothing more, nothing less. As a taekooker we've seen the looks, the touches, and the chemistry between them. It's either they're blind or they really don't want to see what's there.

It's not about denying what's there, but it's more about denying the possibility that there are queer idols, including some members of BTS. Why would you assume they're straight? Because they sing heterosexual songs? Because they show masculinity? Because they sing about fucking someone 7 days a week? I see that assumption about Jungkook alot. Oh he can't be queer cause of how he looks, cause of his tats, cause of the songs he sings? Those are not indicators of one's sexuality, nor how one identified as.

At the end of the day they love what they do, they love ARMY but it's still their jobs. It's their job to sing, dance and entertain. It's not their whole identity. It's a fraction of who they are. This idea that all these idols are straight or can't be queer is really laughable.

I guess ignorance is bliss.

A few jikook blogs have been popping up for my recommendation because I follow the BTS hash tag. I'm so tempted to send them an ask. The things they have written are beyond insane. Like, no way a reasonable, logical person would write what you just wrote...ugh insanity. Maybe one day I'll choose violence, hahaha, but not this Monday morning.

I've been thinking about this for a couple of days now. I'm a baby ARMY, for about a year now. While this fandom is great and I see the love for the boys, not everyone is truly OT7. If this Fandom and so-called ARMY are truly OT7, then all the boys should have gotten the number 1 spot on BB Hot 100, and they would have all gotten their 1 billion stream plaques, but they hadn't. It's obvious there are favorites, and you can clearly tell who "fans" love. I get it. Not all the music the boys put out is to everyone's liking, but where's the support? Honestly, I see ARMY going so hard for JMs release, but the same love wasn't there for RMs release, from what I saw. Personally, RMs album is much more interesting and well put together. I listen to his album twice a day, sometimes more.

The point is that it makes me sad seeing "fans" pushing so hard for some but not the others. Seeing "fans" trash others for their favs. Like Taehyung said, BTS consists of 7 boys. Please love ALL of them, but just some. Get them all the accolades they so deserve.

Maybe this is why I stick with taekook because they bring me joy, like genuine joy. I don't like to see the boys getting hate from their own "fans." I don't like seeing some getting much more attention and love than the others. It's not right. If it's going to be this bangtan shit for life, then show love and support to all of them. I know my page is all taekook, but in real life, I support them all. I buy, I stream, I support.

I'm not going to let the haters ruined today for us taekooker. Being so upset over a picture. I've been outspoken about the current situation in Gaza, but I will NOT put anyone else down over a picture. We, as fans, can not hold our favs to our own morals and standards. We can not ask them and those around us to boycott what we're boycotting. I have coworkers say crazy shit about the current situation, but I still have to work with them.

Maybe he has donated. Maybe he has helped in his own ways. We just don't know. Get off your high horse and stop canceling him over this. They're so sad to find anything to cancel him and lecture him on your morals. F OFF!!
