Statement begins."

"We’re not so different, you and I. I collect stories too, but unlike you, I broadcast, unravel, and control how they're told. A story is nothing without a good narrator, and when I speak, people listen. When I instruct them to clap, to cry, or to kill, they obey.

I send whatever message I desire, and every Sunday night, millions tune in to hear what I have to say. I control public perception with ease; I made everyone adore a young actress caught in a web of lies, and turned them against an unfaithful man.

Once I know your secrets, I decide what the people believe. If I don’t like you, they act as one, storming the stage with rage. With a mere tug of strings, I pull down the curtains on the guest. This is the power of storytelling: everyone is entangled in my ever-expanding web."

Micrathena, or “Mica” Dolust, is the host of the hit TV show Entangled with Mica. This talk show puts people in the hot seat, exposing their life stories, latest scandals, or recent experiences to Mica and his audience.
