That "oh no..." Moment when you realize that short story turned into a series of four short stories turned into a series of four interconnected novellas turned into a series of four fully fleshed out stories connected to a duology sequel that all now have a solid foundation backstory interconnected to the shit that happens both behind the scenes and in print.

Re-reads are important, my dudes.

Working on the finishing touches of my newest One-Shot before posting, and since last night I've discovered not one, not two, but FOUR plot holes and major inconsistencies from having shifted some conversations and decisions halfway through.

Minor and grammatical error adjustments are cool, but those re-reads help trap those sneaky inconsistencies when the story runs in its own direction in areas.

Plus (for me), it's fun reading what came out the fingers when in a trance-like state of writing lol like, hawt damn, I don't remember writing this bit but I like it! Let's keep it.
