think about it before the murders ? her family is constantly in the public eye bc of her dad's political involvements . then once one of her closest friends gets slashed ? it starts hard & fast . as it piles up . it obvi just elevates . her number probably gets leaked . to conspiracy theorists on true crime subforums . some who harass . some who think they can replace her closest friends . who think they know her . cut to college she ends up dating a guy who's obsessed w the lakewood sitch w/o her initial knowledge . they split but then . career wise ? she wants to be a designer but no one takes her material seriously . they want to use her as some sick staple / figurehead for the idea of survival . so she surrenders to it . puts her true goals to the side . to step into modelling . where she's clearly not a fit . she's good at it yes but . far too short . initially unwilling to go so tooth & nail into it . but as much as she hates attention based on what she KNOWS it sources from ..... she has more than the mental capacity to mentally morph that . to a point . but there are nights where the truth sits in as she sits alone in her apartment . parties where she feels numb for more reasons than just substances .
