weird dream of koishi experiencing identity fraud
i had a few dreams in this nap but the best one was like. from the perspective of koishi where she was sneaking around this big fancy building.
she ended up in a room where they were filming the debut of a new star… who was like intentionally made to be a doppelgänger of koishi. real koishi started doing a bunch weird poses at the same time as the fake koishi (atleast, behind cover because she didn’t want to be seen by anybody) to try to verify how accurate she was to the real deal, and she became a little upset when they got out of sync.
real koishi started trying to think of ways (omg third eye opened koishi real) to not have her identity stolen without drawing too much attention to herself… but she also started questioning like “oh… or maybe i would do those poses if I was a star…” and started doing the same poses the doppelgänger did with a really confused look on her face.

i need to koishipost once more, here's this little doodle of koishi staring at a spider that i suggested an artist to draw one time.
...i gave her a football head cause i thought it was funny, but something about the idea of a super-wide football-sized koishi hat scares me- so i drew it normal size.

but i made a chart comparing koishi's colors over the years, just so i could ramble about it a lil bit
i think its interesting that after Th11, koishi's black colors become more of a dark blue... I didn't even process that until i tried to colorpick off of her ULiL portrait.
SA's portrait is notably the only one whose shirt color is different from their ribbon color.
in hindsight, i probably could've just compared SA and ULiL's colors... but idk, even minute differences in colors are interesting to me.
maybe it's not minute- but take the HM+ battle sprite and compare it to the HM portrait. I think the battle sprite is better for removing the white gradient. The gradient was good on SA's portrait because it matched better with her really pale-green hair, but i can't help but think its out of place on HM's portrait. It doesn't work as well with the new minty color.
realistically it wasn't put on the battle sprite just to make the spriters lives easier, but here's a quick edit to simulate the world where that didn't happen. i definitely prefer the solid color over this one.
