the Penguins of Madagascar animated show is underrated I think because it has some of the most tumblr-esque humour I’ve ever seen

King Julien, pointing at the sky: MAURICE! I see a gimme-gimme star! Say the rhyme!

Maurice, sighing: Star bright, star brown, from the haze of this stinky town, I wish you may, if you know how—

King Julien: GIMME GIMME NOW NOW NOW

(The convenient jewel necklace being driven away in a car chase after being stolen that has just been flung out the car window lands directly in his arms.)

(He then proceeds to wear this around his neck for the entire episode)
