Remy and Deceit would make a good ship

Honestly no one can change my mind on this. They both have the least amount of screen time (Deceit being an episode and like two seconds and Remy being exclusive to Vines) but play important roles. I'm gonna be treading into sympathetic Deceit territory here so be warned!

Remy's so sassy and out there and Dakota is so not. But they have the same dry humor (Remy's a bit more flamboyant and I am HERE for it) and they've got some great fashion sense, lemme tell you. Also, the two of them don't seem to be at very good standing with the rest. Deceit is certainly sort of disliked and is definitely not trusted, while Remy, especially with Virgil, doesn't seem to care too much about them.

That's treading into vine territory though, which isn't quite canon, but stick with me here.

Also, Remy doesn't seem like a light side to me? Not saying that he's bad, but he doesn't wear bright colors like Roman, Patton, and Logan do. He wears black and brown, just as Virgil wears purple and black and Deceit wears black and a dark yellow (black is a running color here-). Also, he does represent Thomas's sleep, but that doesn't mean he also represents his dreams. Personally, I feel like Roman represents that, since he's his fanicable side, his hopes and his dreams!

So, what if Remy represents his nightmares?

Every time Thomas goes to sleep and he has a nightmare, Remy has to go through it with him. He knows every nightmare that Thomas has ever had, no matter how long ago it was or how young Thomas was when he had it. He might even know about the nightmares the sides have had, of Logan feeling like an asshole robot, Patton being afraid he's not wanted and that they don't love him, and Virgil being certain that he doesn't bring anything good to the group or to Thomas.

Whenever Thomas has good or wacky dreams, Roman goes through those with him.

Remy's eyes are bloodshot and have huge bags underneath them because of his lack of sleep, but he doesn't want anyone to see them and ask him about it and find out his struggles, so he wears his sunglasses. He drinks coffee constantly to keep himself from falling asleep and that's why he always has Starbucks.

Deceit can see/hear everyone's lies, which can lead him to know almost everyone's fears/secrets- including Remy's.

I don't know, this post kinda got away from me- but I just really, really love the idea of these two nerds chilling together. Remy trying to get Deceit into new fashion. Deceit getting Remy to sleep, because even though it's rough he needs it. The two just knowing that the other is going through deeper struggles that they can't help with but they're still there for them and they know they can always talk to the other about it. Behind closed doors they're like old friends, even though they act like they don't care about the other whenever they're with anyone else. It's a benefital, almost secret friendship. They don't lie to each other, they don't try to trick the other- Deceit knows all of Remy's top favorite drink orders and Remy knows the lies that hurt Deceit the most, he knows when he's telling the truth. Just the little things like that that mean all the world to them.
