Salome de Sang

I made Salome de Sang for @boxaholic‘s Holland legacy a while ago and I have really wanted to put her in my game but was waiting for a vampire expansion pack.  I can’t wait to try out all the vampire CAS stuff and finally be able to give her a storyline.

If the sims made it possible to disable actual vampires in your game I would 100% buy that pack for the radiator, counters, and flooring.

the rice family twins

kiona and nikan rice were born on the longest night of the year in a place so far north, the snow kissed sidewalks barely saw the sun anyway. as children, the twins were so similar even their parents found it very difficult to tell them apart. it did not help that they seemed to share only a singular brain cell between the two of them which, on any given day, possessed what could be defined as fuck all or absolutely no impulse control.

their raising was somewhat unassuming and generally in line with the rest of the kids in their neighborhood at the time. they rough-housed, cut up, and made mischief that even dennis the menace would envy. both were avid fans of hockey and played all throughout school despite their grades averaging scores of only mildly acceptable. suffice to say, an academic future was never in the course for either of them, but a little violence came naturally.

they were turned in late autumn of '95. after one alleged 'gap year' turned into two, then again turned into a third year, they decided to get out and follow a few favorite grunge bands on the road for a while. that ended abruptly when they tried to buy a burger for a starving looking roadie who took a bite out of them instead. the changes were... jarring to say the least. after drifting for a long time, they caught wind of forgotten hollow. hell, it was more aptly named than anyone realized, but it was home now.

kiona rice, the brawler

pronouns | they/them aspiration | vampire family traits | adventurous, music lover, family oriented

kiona was born exactly three minutes ahead of nikan which they like to point out to just about anyone who will hear it. as the oldest, kiona has the tendency to take charge. they are hands on and proactive in their decisions, and rarely doubt their gut instinct. they do, however, regret them at times. especially since one of those gut checks lead to being bitten. kiona firmly believes that it is their fault the twins are stuck like this.

they are a devil on the ice and never pass up an opportunity to knock a few pucks around. (they also take advantage of the chance to get a few good licks on on any fight, but that extends even further than the rink.) the grunge scene wasn't exactly crowded with peaceful hippie types either. kiona thrived in it, though. they are a self-taught, and somewhat talented, guitarist.

nikan rice, the escape artist

pronouns | they/them aspiration | expert nectar maker traits | loyal, foodie, active

nikan is the (slightly) younger twin which is pretty immediately evident through an inarguable sense of charm and general ease (and the occasional glance around for a sign of approval or permission after speaking). they are the kind of person that can talk their way out of almost anything. while kiona flaunts the breaking of rules, nikan preferred to fly under the radar. a skill which has only improved since being turned. call that a silver lining, eh?

unlike their twin, there almost no brawl on or off the ice that ever felt worth bruising such a pretty face. so they stayed well in their goal whenever the fights broke out. undeniably a flirt, and certainly not as interested in creating music, nikan delved more into food and wine. there was a fun irony in getting good at something you couldn't have. then again, they liked to take a lot of things they couldn't have.

I can't stress enough how much I love this guy. He's literally the pinacle of attractiveness in the eyes of 16 year old me. Back then, when Twilight was the sh*t, all I wanted was to settle down with some Robert Pattinson lookalike and experience my ultimate teenage fantasy. Years later, I can say no such thing happened in real life, but my sims have married Caleb enough times to 'live the dream' in my stead lmao.

Another one of my favorite townies makes it into a lookbook! Despite her questionable default wardrobe, I headcanon Lilith to be very much into fashion and a natural when it comes to posing for pictures. As a matter of fact, in one of my saves, she happens to be working as a model (got myself the Model Career by Kiarasims4mods) alongside her brother Caleb and while climbing up the ladder to success has proven to be quite the challenge, they're both doing fantastic!

Y'all think they could be bros? 🤙

Ember Twins.

With a very obvious dash of Vatore

I did say I was dying to share some of my premades' kids so of course these two had to come first 😭

Their names are Willow (left) and Sirius (right) and they're the children of Morgyn and Caleb in one of my saves. They were both born through gameplay and came as a bit of a surprise in the sense that I was fully convinced there would only be one baby.

Although they're twins, each was born a different occult, with Willow being a vampire and Sirius a spellcaster. Currently, they're teens.

I'd also like to mention that for the purpose of the story I'm working on, these are NOT the twins mentioned in the 15 questions tag game I did a few days ago. However, the idea of Morgyn potentially becoming a parent to a pair of twins did come from these two.

Anyways, can I just say how GORGEOUS the Moon Milk preset by @plumbaleena looks on a black background? I'm absolutely obsessed. Definitely something to try with my upcoming lookbooks.

And if the sun comes up Will it tear the skin right off our bones?

Got a little enthusiasmed and gave the Vatores a proper makeover for my story 😌 (I still can't believe I finally bid farewell to Caleb's iconic emo hair)

Fun fact: Lilith feeds on willing "donors", while Caleb relies on a blood-free alternative diet (shocker), which is why her eyes are red and his are a pale, milky color.

Another fun fact: Blood consumption is totally a thing that vampires should do to maintain their forms and keep themselves sane, regardless of morals and dietary options. This means that when they've gone too long without it, they can get a little goofy and go on a blood crazed rampage in search of the tastiest (and closest) walking snack they can find. Caleb's dark form is a result of that. As he feeds, his eyes turn red, just like Lilith's. That is, until he basically starves himself again and the cycle begins anew 🥴
