Imagine Hinata and Yamaguchi owning a coffee shop together and Tsukishima coming in every morning for a cup of coffee. Without fail Tsukishima and Hinata get in to an argument. One day, the new, young barista nervously asks Yamaguchi whether it’s okay for Hinata to be arguing with customers like that and Yamaguchi just laughs it off, gestures to where Tsukishima is pressing a kiss to Hinata’s pouting face, and says:

“I think it’s okay considering that’s his husband.”

just wondering, what do u like about tsukihina?:) what makes u so interested in drawing them?

Y'know I'm glad you asked me that!

What I like about tsukihina is the element of fun that they have. I think all of their interactions are golden-- they range from funny to straight up cute, and there's nothing particularly malicious going on underneath the surface. Tsukki makes fun of Hinata for...being short. And saying airheaded things... and that's pretty much it AHAH. And I love how Hinata is always friendly to him no matter how salty he is. I love how excited he got about his glasses, I love that he admires his height.

And I especially like how Hinata can bring out emotions in Tsukki that other characters don't. I think that's especially why I like drawing them so much. Tsukki is a WELL written character and I dislike treating him like the stale mean boy because he's so much more than that. So Hinata can be bubbly and excited and dumb and just be himself and Tsukki's always gonna be there to have something to say about it. Because let's be real, Tsukki is a little obsessed with that boy, he's always seeking him out.
