The Ink Demonth Day 15 : Poisoning

Small Story For Why This Makes Since Under the Cut

Henry knew it was a bad idea to break into the Keanrot’s lair un-prepared. But he needed a way to turn the ink creatures back to normal. He wasn’t going to live forever, and sooner or later someone was going to see the ink town hidden behind a fence in his backyard.

He had sneaked in during the middle of the Night, being careful to avoid Rhonda and her pet. His first place to look was a bookshelf in what appeared to be some sort of lab, chemicals bumbling and hissing around him. Of Crouse, the ink machine was more magic-magic then science-magic, so there was nothing in the books about it.

However, he did some across a story of sorts, or at least parts of one. The book was dirty and tore, and most the words on the pages were hardly readable, if even there at all. But what he could tell, it seemed to be about the times when Keanrots and Humans had once lived in peace, before humanity would turn on the Keanrots.

It seemed to feature a group of seven, Six Humans and One Keanrot. They were called the Protectors of the Realms and Each seemed to repents some sort of quality, though the pattern of them didn’t make since to the human. Innocence, Strength, Creation, Hope, Protection, Sin, and the Keanrot named Neil, who was Light.

Henry soon had to force himself to stop reading. He didn’t had times for random story of the past that likely weren’t true, he needed to focus on his current matter. He was lucky was it was too have not been caught by the Demon-Dragon Girl or her Linger pet as it was. But something about the story just wouldn’t leave his head.

He shined his flashlight around the halls of the old factory slightly as he kept walking, mice occasionally being spotted by the light. He took a step back as one raced in front of him, only for his light to shine into a mostly empty room. He turned, and noticed that there seem to be some sort of stone on the ground, and went to investigate.

The chuck of cave wall seem to have some sort of carving on it, and Henry almost immediately realized what it was of. It had seven figures, six where humans, three on each side of the Keanrot In the Middle. That Keanrot, Neil, seem to caught Henry’s eyes, and picked up the soon for a closer investigation of the drawing.

That’s when Henry felt chills down his spine. The shape of his head, the semi similar ruffed up hair, even to what the Keanrot was wearing in a way. The Keanrot...It...Neil...He.. looked like a version of Henry form another time. Henry was immediately felt confusion and worry flood into him when a voice broke his thoughts.

“Dad, look out!”

He turned around only to suddenly felt something being forced down his throat. By the time he had recover form the shock to knock the bottle out of his mouth, half of the purple glowing substance was gone form the bottle. Whatever it was wasn’t his concern as he glare at the creature in front of him, who had his son in a glowing reddish aurora. “Let him go, now!”

“Oh, I would Be more worried about yourself if I were you.” Rhonda said with a chuckle.

“What did you just do to my father!” The Ink Demon Shouted, wishing he could pounce on the girl like a loin on it’s prey.

Rhonda turned to face the Ink Demon with a smirk. “Well, it’s clearly a potion. See some Keanrots have trouble gaining there Magic powers, and this potion is used as a Last resort if they nearly hit adulthood without gaining there powers...”

Henry was about to demand or her to hurry it up when his veins could be seen glowing and he collapse on the floor, pain feeling his body completely.

“What’s happening to him!” Bendy shouted.

“Well to humans” she grinned at the demon. “It Might as well be Poison. Not just any, but I say it would likely be the deadliest poison man would ever known..”

“No...NO!” Bendy shouted as the glowing figure that was his father seemed to stop moving on the floor, the glow consuming him completely. Bendy felt tears go down his face as Ink appear on the walls, like it had so many times before it the studio. He finally managed to break free form the red aroura and pounced at the REAL demon. His vison felt with nothing but fury as he went to slash her face, but she pushed him back.

“I told you this before, and I’ll tell you again, demon” Rhonda said as with a snap of her figures, flame surrounded all sides of the ink demon, too high for him to jump over. She made a ball of pure fire and magic in her palms as she smirked at the demon, knowing now he couldn’t run.

“I brought you into this world...and I can take you out”

She felt to through the flame...

Only for blue fire to knock her unto the ground. Bendy was surprised as the fire around him disappeared. And even more surprise, was his father standing, clearly in pain, but well alive. But that wasn’t the most surprising thing.

It was the Light Blue horns that sticked out form Henry’s brown hair, and the light blue and purplish sliver tipped winds that append form behind him back, that match the now stud Keanrot’s on the grounds own pair in all but color. a faint blue glow could be seen around his hands as his pained open eye looked at Bendy.

“This isn’t possible!” The fully-blood Keanrot shouted after she had recover form her own shock. But deep down she knew the story she had brush off so many times was true.

The Protector of Light’s power was back, all because she wanted to kill the person who made her plan failed. She just made things harder for herself instead of easier.

Who knew poison could actually do some good?

.....

Sorry If it felt a bit rushed at the end. I know that most of the story seem to be more backstory related but I wanted it to make since why the ‘poison’ would do what it did.
