Exo is a reluctant teenager pop star, only getting into the music industry on accident. She has a villainous diva persona to the public, however under the facade she’s a quiet paranoid kid who just doesn’t want to be a burden to others. Her magic access was cut off when she became a cyborg. She’s in a relationship with Blue-k, and Broadway is her roommate and legal guardian.

This one I made near the beginning of the year, but it's one of my favourites lol. Something I like about ubt is that since it takes place like 20-30 years after the pacifist run, most of the og ut cast is still kicking, so it's fun to think of potential interactions the ubt cast and their og counterparts would have if they ever crossed paths. Now most of the og cast wont make an appearance in the main comic, but maybe I'll eventually make some short comics for fun.

Wanted to do some pose practice, and also wanted to make some more ship art of these two because they’re such a wholesome pair of adorable dorks. I also wanted to get some ship art of some sort in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. I do have more content planned to post on Valentine’s Day, but that day also just so happens to be Calli’s 1 year anniversary so I wanted to get something not related to her out of the way before I spam y’all’s feed with the pink doggo lol.

Another addition to the Pink Sktchbook, wanted to draw a magical girl so BEHOLD: MAGICAL GIRL EXo lol

I love drawing her in dresses even though she’s like one of the least likely of my characters to wear them, especially something fluffy and frilly like this lol. But dammit I like drawing fluffy frilly things and I need to self indulge sometimes and take it out on her lol. She can pull off literally any outfit. I’m particularly happy with the little pearly iridescent feets it’s a small detail but I like it lol.

That one post were I talk about the singing robots for a loooong time-

So, in my time on this account I’ve occasionally been posting these utau covers sprinkled in my au tag, but I don't think I ever properly explained why and how this fits into my au, and since a good chunk of you guys are just here for my undertale related content some of you may not even know what the hek these are. So I’m gonna go on a little Ubt lore dump on why there are singing robots lol. (also since I have forgotten to post a good chunk of my Utau covers here over the good part of a year-ish it seems, ima take this as an excuse to also post a bunch of em lol)

So if you don’t mind my self indulgence for just a moment *clears throat and pulls out cue cards*

In the world of Unboundtale after Robots became identified as a separate race, Mettaton ended up becoming the founder of a Robot run talent agency known as MTT Entertainment. In current day the head of the agency is Prince MTT (Ubt!MTT, aka just Prince, no real familial relation to og Mettaton, MTT is kindof of an honorary title that comes with the position lol). He’s credited to have been responsible for the formation of the popular idol/popstar group: Unbounded. The group consists of Exo, Calli and Tabby, a skeleton cyborg and two animatronics respectively. 

Behind the scenes their formation wasn’t the cleanest and its kind of miraculous the group managed to stick together. Tabby was the first one scouted and probably made the most sense as a pick. He used to be a jukebox performer for a small arcade and after he was hired he steadily became one of the most popular performers on the surface and has a pretty successful solo career alongside the group. Soon after that Calli was commissioned to be made as a counterpart to Tabby specifically for the group so she was also a decent fit, as well having a decent career outside the group as solo artist and a model. 

And then there’s Exo. No real prior musical experience, nor a real desire to be a proper musician. She would occasionally play piano at her local Jazz cafe with her roommate Broadway (Ubt!Papyrus) who works there, but she wouldn't credit herself in really having any skill. On one of those days when she was just messing around while the shop was closed, Broadway secretly recorded her singing and uploaded the video online, not really thinking much of it. However after the video suddenly got a lot of attention, so did it get the attention of Prince’s assistant Blue-K (Ubt!Nabstablook). After she was finally reached out to, and a lot of persuasion and pushing from Broadway, she ended reluctantly joining MTT Entertainment.

Things were pretty rocky at the beginning when the group was first formed, mainly with tensions between Calli and Exo. Calli took this job incredibly seriously, it was her purpose, quite literally what she was made to do. Meanwhile Exo was seemingly halfhearted and unprofessional in her eyes. Exo was still somewhat apprehensive about this path for herself. She felt like the black sheep of the group, but also felt obligated to stick it through as to not let the people who wanted this for her down. That or she did it out of sheer spite towards Calli. If it wasn’t for bright, dumbly optimistic Tabby essentially being the glue and mediator between the two the group probably would’ve never work out. There’s still some tension but over time they’ve become a chaotic found family of sorts.

Now onto the somewhat meta part, Utau and Project UBloid, wtf is that?

So Utau for those who don’t know is an free vocal synth computer program were you can create vocals via piano reel (similar to Vocaloid). As sort of extra flavor for the au I thought It’d be fun to give the Unbounded crew actual voices! I have been mainly using them for covers (as well as others, they’re all publicly available to use), with have plans to eventually make some original music for the au too ^.^

Project UBloid is simply the name of the collection of Utauloids I’ve made. Project UBloid consists of Tabby, Calli and Exo, as well as a few other characters that aren’t cannon to Ubt (namely Papi-lo my lil moth boy, and another that has yet to be released). Project UBloid doesn’t exclusively exist for Ubt, that’s why you may come across some stuff on my accounts with Tabby and Calli as regular anthros and not robots.

Today’s also Exo’s 2nd anniversary! More specifically her second anniversary since her Utau vb release. Happy birthday my lil skeleborg, here’s to more singing robot shenanigans in the future
