i may have gotten a little carried away with this one, but i can’t help it. yoongi just does things to me.

Yoongi spread out on the mattress, arms thrown above him bent at the elbows to support his head. He’d gotten home before you today, a rarity in his busy schedule. As he awaited your arrival to the apartment, he kept his eyes glued to his phone, lazily scrolling through social media.

Inhaling deeply, he tossed his phone onto the mattress beside him, sighing as he rolled over to your side of the bed to bury his face in your pillow. It smelled like you; sweet vanilla with a hint of flowers.

He picked his head up from the pillow when he heard the sound of you jiggling your key into the lock. He couldn’t help the gummy smile appearing on his face as he heard the door open and shut. He scrambled to sit up, scooting over to the end of the bed as his ears perked up at the sound of your footsteps coming down the hall.

“You home, Yoonie?” you called, voice echoing down the hallway.

“In here.” he called casually, although his heart was pitter-pattering against his chest as he heard your footsteps near.
