so i'm doing a readthrough of the stardust telepath manga in the discord, and we're reading through ch3, it's the part where umika visits the lighthouse for the first time

anyway yuu switches on the lighthouse beam by accident, and instead of umika stammering in squeaks as usual, she instead does this:

it's so out of left field but i love it so much. just the idea of timid and shy and soft-spoken umika screaming MOTHERFUCKER in shock will never not be funny

I started this on December 19 and I wanted to finish coloring it one of these days and that day is today. I drew this up in response to someone on Twitter going, "What is the end game of Hoshitele? It can't be them actually building a rocket, right" and while I can't tell you for the life of me who said it (i forgor), I made this because I think the girls can and should build a rocket as the endgame of Hoshitele. xD Let them do it!!!! xD Plz get that far 🙏
