How i animate eyes! (i always use 8fps!)

i know somebody has asked this before but, how do you do these?? I use ibis as well and I struggle with the method I use, especially with gradients and such. If you don't want to explain, feel free to ignore this!

Im not exactly able to explain it into words, so heres a video tutorial!

My favourite trope has to be:

I sacrificed myself to save you. I didn't plan to survive. I burnt all the bridges. I intended to break your heart with my death, but that would be all right, because I wouldn't be around to see you. Quick Tips for Writing Reunion Tension

One character smiles a little too much, like they’re trying hard to hide how weird this reunion is for them.

As soon as they see each other, they both remember all the stuff that happened before, and it’s all over their faces.

They’re stuck asking questions like, “So… how’s life?” when both of them really want to talk about what happened.

Do they hug or not? One goes in, the other hesitates. It's super uncomfortable.

They make eye contact for like a second, but it feels like everything unsaid is hanging in the air between them.

Writing Trust Issues Tension

One keeps asking, “Are you sure?” and “What about…?” because they just can’t believe the other person.

Every little thing the other person says or does is met with suspicion, like, “Why are you really doing this?”

They start to open up, then stop, because they’re not sure if they can trust the other person yet.

One keeps asking for reassurance, like, “You wouldn’t lie to me, right?” but it’s clear they’re not convinced.

A tiny mistake or secret gets blown way out of proportion because the trust was already shaky.

I always hate it when people are all “so do you go to school, or are you working, or” and I either have to

make up some lie, or

eventually get around to “I am not working because of depression/anxiety,” and subsequently have to deal with whatever bullshit-riddled and completely unsolicited opinions on mental illness this stranger feels obligated to share with me.

So my therapist was like, “You don’t have to do either. You can just say you haven’t worked in a while because you’re recovering from an illness.”

I tried it when the home inspector was here today, and it fucking worked. He was like, “oh, I’m sorry, are you doing better now,” and I’m like yeah, and don’t worry, it’s not contagious, awkward laugh, and we moved on.

MY THERAPIST. IS A GENIUS. Because it is an illness, so it’s not a lie to say that, and it’s also none of his business to know specifically what it is, and I clearly don’t want to give more details, so we should move on from this topic. MY THERAPIST IS A GODDAMN GENIUS.

i'm still thinking about how brian said taco would be in a much darker place right now if mepad wasn't there. i don't like the implications of that. at all
