stiles stilinskis dad is not that good of a parent... that vision in season two had to of stemmed from somewhere like i know it technically could be the whole losing a parent and her saying you’re a monster as a child but like the way it’s phrased is so specific and like there’s no way that’s just a thing imagined it felt almost as if it was a memory

also the sheriff is a fucntioning alcoholic...there i said it in the later seasons maybe not but the way that in season one he pretty much HAS to drink to work on the cases and then the way that he didn’t even notice just how much he was drinking...it’s also (I think it’s only hinted) heavily hinted at the fact that he turned to alcohol when claudia died and the fact that stiles was what eight or nine at that point how was he supposed to survive

we also get to see that stiles has almost a NEED to take care of his father which also could just be the fact that he only has one parent left but like the way that stiles knows like all the bills and stuff and that he constantly HAS to bring his dad lunch just so that he eats semi healthily...while he complains the whole time

also once the sheriff was presented with information on the supernatural it’s kinda like he didn’t even really ask stiles about how he feels and all that he pretty much buried himself back into old cases and didn’t really say anything to stiles...and then yes i know that he’s the sheriff he’s a busy man and all but the way that he didn’t even make that much of an effort to understand the things that have happened to them it just doesn’t add up to how a dad should be like he’s pretty much absent for a big part of stiles sophomore and junior year and what seems like stiles’ early teenage years
