Venom’s Marine

Jolting up in bed, your hands had gripped onto the sheets, your knuckles turning white. Tears had already begun to stream down your cheeks and dripping down onto your sheets.

In the corner of your eyes and through the tears, you see a blob roll its way into your room. It grips onto the semi-fallen sheets to climb itself onto your bed,

Immediately, you know it’s Venom.

Wiping the tears away, you cover your hand with your oversized hoodie sleeve to wipe away at the snot that had begun to run from your nose.

Venom merged his body with yours to form his head in front of you. “What is wrong, little one?” Silence became his answer. He bumps his ‘nose’ against yours.

You chuckle out sadly whilst looking down to your lap. “It’s nothing.”

“If it is nothing, then would you like to explain why there is water coming from your eyes and this weird substance coming from your nose?”

You giggle at the words he used for ‘tears’ and ‘snot’.

“Well, you know how I was in the marines.” He gives a single nod. You take in a deep breath in before letting it out slowly. “You also know that I have PTSD, but I also have depression because of what I did during the battles. My head has been giving me these thoughts of the people I’ve killed, of how their families and friends won’t be able to see them because I killed them.”

“You were trying to protect yourself and the the people you were with.”

“I know, but I feel sorry and bad for their families and friends.”

“It shows that you have feelings.”

Nothing else is said. You both sit in a comfortable silence.

“Where were you before, Venom?” You had remembered that he was out of the room. He doesn’t say anything except for, “Snacks.”

A small smile forms on your face, imagining him going through your freezer for those tator-tots.

He nuzzles his head against your hand as you began to pet him.

You felt his body force yours back onto the bed. “Go back to bed, human.” He forms his full body to have the both of you on your sides, your back against his chest.

“V, I can’t-”

“I’ll be here with you. Forever.”

You place your hands on top of his, a few small tears falling onto your pillow. “Forever.”

Eddie’s and Venom’s Marine

the fic that’s semi-based of: Venom’s Marine

“Anne, I won’t be able to come into work for a few days. (Y/N) got home two hours ago and I’d like to spend some time with her.” Eddie looks at you, who’s sleeping away on the couch with a blanket draped over you. The TV’s light brightens your face every time the random show lights up.

“Eddie!”

“I’m here, I’m here. I’m gonna go. I’ll see you soon.” He ends the call and slips his phone in his back pocket. “Staying or coming?” He asked the symbiote. 

“I will come, Eddie.”

Eddie grabs his keys and walks towards the door. Opening it, he looks back to you, still in the same space.

Roughly 15 minutes later, the symbiote tells him that he’s getting a call as the phone is on a soft vibrate.

Fishing the phone out, Eddie sees the photo of you since you’re the one calling. “Hey, baby, I’m sorry I didn’t wake you before leav- are you okay?” He had cut himself off as he had heard your soft sniffs.

“I want you home, please, Eddie.” your voice is quiet. “Please come home. I want you and Venom.”

“Okay, we’ll be home in a minute.” Ditching the groceries in the basket he was holding, he’s immediately out of the store.

He feels Venom’s body taking over his, letting the symbiote do it.

Less than the minute, the symbiote tucks away in Eddie’s body as they go through the window.

Eddie’s heart breaks as he sees the sight of you covered in his hoodie, the red splotches on your face, a hint of red on your nose and tears down your cheeks.

“I had another one and I got scared. I didn’t know what else to do, baby.” 

He kneels in front of you, his hands resting on your thighs. “No, no. You did the right thing by calling me. I mean, you’re always there for me when I have a bad dream or something, right?” You nod.

“I got really scared, Eddie.” you sobbed out.

He sits himself on the couch to lean against an armrest before pulling you to sit on his lap. You rest your head against the part where his neck and shoulder met.

His hands rest underneath the hoodie and against your skin, slightly feeling one of the big scars you have on your back.

Seconds later, Venom transforms himself into a small bodied blob and rests on your shoulder and underneath the hoodie, his head peeking out of the neckhole.

“I saw some of the people I killed and they kept screaming at me. I felt like I couldn’t breathe when I woke up. I had to calm myself down enough to call you.” you mumble.

“You don’t need to calm yourself down to call me or talk to me. You have called me or talked to me when you were having a panic attack and Venom and I have been able to be with you in a few minutes if we’re not with you already.” He presses a kiss to the top of your head before resting his against yours, looking at the TV.

Small moments of silence with the TV’s sound in the background, you’re back to sleep with the blanket over you and Eddie.

Blobbed Venom is now sitting in the middle of your back, eating away at the frozen tater-tots and chocolate.

“Do you really need to eat on top of her?”

“But I like to eat on top of her.”

“I’m done with you, Venom.”

Hi back! I'll try and do this. I apologize if this isn't similar or anything to this request

When you arrive home and at the airport, Eddie has to calm Venom down so he doesn't go flying to you

When you surprise them by arriving at home/apartment, Venom is the first to greet you

He's like a dog

Excited to see you

Eddie just cries

And his snot would drip onto your clothes

Now

Half the time, you'd come home with gun wounds, knife wounds and bruises

Eddie would help you apply the new bandages

Venom wants to eat the people who did that to you

Sometimes one of them or both would come with you to the gun range and watch you shoot

Venom would wear headphones if no one's around

I mean everyone would probably have to headphones and shit

But he looks adorable with them on

Anyway

When you say that you were assigned on a dangerous mission

Welp

Be prepared to be semi-yelled at

And to be cuddled to death before you leave

They did let you leave

But it makes Venom more hungry and desperate to rip the people's heads off when you come back even more injured

If you come back fine, only with a few bruises

Venom stills wants to munch their heads off

Eddie has to calm him down

Along with giving the symbiote some tator-tots and chocolate

Also

When the three of you or something go out to the gun range

They are fucking impressed with how you shoot

I mean

They've heard stories about you, your shootings and how you fight

But

They fall even more in love with you as they watch you

Sometimes they feel like they're the ones that need protecting

Venom annoys the hell out of Eddie to get one of the live sea animals

Back to the point

You and Eddie are having a nice conversation

Venom became a blob to settle himself in your lap

A notification ding from your phone cuts your conversation off

[We need you back at base immediately.]

You throw your phone onto the table

Pissed off that you need to go back

Even though you were home for a day or so

"what's wrong?"

"they need me back at base. I even double-checked with them if they need me there, but they said no. Now they changed their fucking mind"

The three of you leave the resturant and back to the apartment

Your bag was half emptied

So you just repacked it until it was full

At the airport, Venom is clutching onto you like a child

Eddie has his arms around your waist, your arms limp over his shoulders

"I'll be home soon."

"you better. And you better call me."

Venom would not let you go

He even said that he'd want to come
