True to their name, Sage Thrashers are capable of delivering savage beatings to anything that truly deserves it. Curiously, they tend to focus their wrathful attention upon small insects and berry bushes, two categories of existence largely believed to live innocent lives. Whether this behaviour indicates misnomer on the part of the bird or previously-unknown widespread corruption of their prey remains to be seen.
