Should I make an au master post when I haven't even introduced myself properly 🤔

I kinda wanna talk about my Villain Basil au where he's the most pathetic teenager known to mankind. But also it's a lot of work to try to formulate a master post and it might just be fun to drop little crumbs of my 15 AUs and hope people can put the puzzles together.

What's this au, you may ask?

Basil is sent by an evil pokemon team to get rid of some teens that keep messing with their plans. For some reason he decides that he wants to blend in with the group and destroy them from the inside. Thus, he makes himself look weak and pitiful then starts to travel with them.

But he starts to be treated like an actual decent person and makes friends with the same people he's supposed to destroy. So most of the au is Basil questioning his loyalties.

A common joke on discord about the au is that Basil has a crush on everyone because these are the first people who show interest in him as a person. So now part of my goal for the au is to make it possible for people to ship whatever Omori ships they prefer while it is still in character for the au.

I'm gonna start to make a master post for my Fractured Wishes au!(pokemon villain Basil au)

Are there anything you guys would like me to include in a FAQ on the post? Starting out, there likely won't be a lot of links attached to stuff. But making the post is going to definitely push me to actually attempt to share my au.

You probably thought about it/plan on doing so already, but maybe a reference sheet for the pokemon teams?

Yes!! I do plan on making complete ref sheets! They'll come with notes on nicknames and important facts.

That's the main thing I'm procrastinating on. ^w^` I don't like inking my drawings but I know they look better and are easier to see when inked.

People are free to ask for details on pokemon teams or ask for au facts in the meantime! It'll help me add more links to my au post.

Fractured Wishes Sunny

Aka Pokemon Villain Basil AU

Sunny is a teen who has a very defined moral compass. He's a rich kid who put off his journey due to not being confident about caring for himself or any magical creatures he may be traveling with.

Meeting Aubrey is what managed to convince him that a pokemon journey would be beneficial.

Notes on Sunny's character and his team below!

Sunny has three Pokemon!

Indeedee

He started his journey with his 'partner' Indeedee. He grew up with the Indeedee taking care of him, and the lil guy also reminds him to take care of himself.

The Indeedee is a male that has the nickname Bess.

Bess is not a battling pokemon and cannot hold his own in a fight. He is purely present to take care of Sunny and lessen his anxieties.

Gothita

Gothita is the first pokemon that Sunny actually caught. This Gothita is a female named Lotte (lot-tay) and she seems to have a hard time evolving.

Lotte is quite clingy to Sunny, and her favorite thing to do is sit with Sunny and take in scenery.

Plot wise, the reason she struggles to evolve is because this line of pokemon tends to have the ability to see the future. I'm trying to cover up any potential plot holes by making sure she isn't evolved to her last stage until after the truth that Basil is a villain is revealed.

Larvesta

Larvesta is the second pokemon Sunny managed to catch and befriend! The one he's gotten is a male named Lux.

Lux is a shy pokemon that loves to battle.

I currently don't have a lot of notes on Lux, but I do like drawing Lux and Sunny together. Mainly because I can give them some sort of sun symbolism in the doodles.

Notes on Sunny:

Sunny's character is supposed to be similar to the generic pokemon game 'hero'. He stumbles upon an evil group doing bad things and makes that his own personal issue for the foreseeable future. In the story he is actively trying to track down the evil pokemon team and stop them.

Sunny has a massive grudge against Commander Sunflower(Basil in an evil guy disguise) specifically out of the entire evil team. Meeting Commander Sunflower is what introduced Sunny to the evil team, and the commander absolutely decimated Sunny and Aubrey's attempts to stand up to them. Man pulled out fully evolved level 50s against pokemon around level 15-20 and the heroes took it personally.

Yet, Sunny's character in this au is being one of the antagonists. Because Basil is the protagonist of the au, we are supposed to see the au through his eyes and feel sympathy for him as a character. Sunny actively stands against Basil and his goals. I wanted Sunny and Basil's dynamic to be somewhat of a commentary that a protagonist does not necessarily mean a good person. Sunny is a good person. Basil is a person who has done many bad things for something he truthfully believes in, but he doesn't think he is necessarily a villain. He perceives Sunny as his enemy for standing in his way.

Sunny and Mari have about a 6-8 year age gap. He got his Indeedee as a gift from her Galar journey. She's in Sinnoh with Hero when the au takes place.

Sunny had moved from Johto to Unova when he turned 10. The story starts in Unova and he only really leaves because he met Aubrey.

All of Sunny's pokemon are in Luxury Balls.

Fractured Wishes Valentines Day

(Mikhael x Basil event!)

During the plot of the Pokemon Villain Basil AU, Michael is left at the evil team headquarters without his friend! Help Michael choose a gift for Basil!

A bit of backstory:

Basil got Mikhael to leave his toxic home life and join the evil team. Mikhael enjoys his new life, and has started to look at Basil like an idol. He has a bit of a crush.

Basil sees them as friends and work colleagues. Mikhael hasn't made any moves cuz he's totally different from the cannon Maverick.

There is no cannon ship for fractured wishes, there'll be other art for other ships at different times. Feel free to request a ship from this au if you wanna see them.

What story of Fractured Wishes (Pokemon Villain Basil au) should I share first?

With a small explanation under the read more with details of what each option means.

The summary chosen will encapsulate both Act One and Act Two of the story, but will not share any story into Act Three.

Watching Basil:

More of a summary of what Basil ends up doing. With facts on things he can't remember or comprehend during Acts One & Two.

Basil POV:

A summary of what Basil remembers and perceives himself doing during Acts One & Two. Details may be left out or changed to what he understands to be truth. This may help understand his character more intimately than the previous option.

Sunny/Aubrey:

These two are somewhat the generic heroes from Pokemon games. Just two young teams happen to come across an evil organization, take it personally, and decide that it's their job to stop the impending doom instead of letting adults handle it. This will lack specific details of what Basil is doing behind the scenes but will have more Kel content.

You just want more information on the villains. This will include information on what the evil team is hunting and general facts on the hierarchy of the organization. This will also open up the option for people to submit characters into the au. You can CANNONICALLY be in this au. 💥💥💥

The Penn has only made one character page and really should make more. You want more designs!! Not story!!

Technically the 'see results' but I really need opinions and I feel like adding a button for if people don't have opinions or don't want to offer their thoughts can actually be more damaging in a poll designed to see what my followers want. If nobody gives their opinion then I don't know what to do to actually please the greater audience.

I'm working on the Act 1 & 2 synopsis of Fractured Wishes! Just trying to make a few doodles to put in during the synopsis as a little treat!

He, in fact, does not have a Marshadow on his team. It's just a motif he has in his outfit(which Mikhael made his disguise btw)

The wig is how he manages to escape being immediately recognized when he meets Sunny and Aubrey. You can also track down his coloring in Tosteur's previous fanart on Daily Basil.
