I want a plot where Muse A is a married man and Muse B is a young college girl that catches his eye in a bar one night/is a student of his/is his friends daughter/something and he makes the mistake of sleeping with her (maybe after a big fight with his wife or something) and the next day he’s all “this was a mistake it can’t happen again I love my wife etc etc” and the girl is all “lol plz it’s happening” bc she’s a little shit and maybe taped the first night and she’s all “if you don’t meet me tonight I’ll send this to your wife lalala” and basically blackmails him into an affair and he totally hates her but low key loves fucking her bc she’s equally crazy in bed and lets him do all kinds of filthy kinky shit he’d never even dream of mentioning to his wife, I just want lots of fucked up hate sex that’s like low key dubcon af bc he really doesn’t want to cheat on his wife but literally can’t say no and ALWAYS ENJOYS HIMSELF AND HATES HIMSELF FOR IT
Conflicting Ship Plots
they are competitors - the same job, the same championship, etc.
they are straight-up enemies - one them wants to buy the land to build a resort, and the other wants it to get turned into a nature sanctuary. one is a defense attorney, and the other is a prosecutor. they’re soldiers on opposing sides of the war, etc.
they already won - they inherited an estate that should have been the other’s, or one got the job that the other was hoping to be promoted into, and they are seething.
they broke their heart in the past - maybe there was a good reason behind it, or maybe they were an idiot then and realize it now.
they did the other wrong in the past - maybe they wronged the other’s family member or friend.
they have has trust issues - their last relationship ended in a terrible betrayal.
they have intimacy issues - maybe because of a traumatic past, they feel too vulnerable if anyone knows about their real emotions or weaknesses. maybe they’re a psychic, a behavioral expert, or just the one person who can see right through the other and it makes them uncomfortable as hell.
they don’t trust their dating choices - they’ve gotten involved with several losers in a row, and they’re taking a break, maybe a permanent one.
they believe no one can truly love them - they made a terrible mistake in the past, or they’re not attractive in the conventional manner.
they are good friends - they don’t want to risk ruining their friendship by taking it to the next level.
they are co-workers - they don’t want to make things weird at the office, restaurant, or wherever they both work.
they are freaked out by who they really are - a werewolf, vampire, ex-con, spy, etc.
it was supposed to be sex only - they were going to be friends with benefits, or maybe one of them is an escort. falling in love goes against the original arrangement.
their love was supposed to be fake - they were pretending to be in love or married, or they entered a marriage of convenience.
they were faking it at first - they made a bet that they could bed the other, or pretended to like the other so they could learn their darkest secrets.
they have moral qualms - one of them is the other’s boss, their teacher, their captor, ex-girlfriend or their best friend, and that gives them pause.
they are struggling with personal issues - one of them is grieving the death of their significant other, best friend, their child, or they have PTSD from battle or some other terrible experience.
their love is forbidden by others - it’s against the rules, spoken or unspoken, of their family, organization, community, or religion.
they are into something that the other doesn’t like - it could be an addiction, like alcohol, drugs, gambling, or a profession, like boxing or defending corrupt clients in court. whatever it is, the other wants no part of it.
their cultures clash - one of them is a rock-n-roller and the other is a business executive, or they love the city life and the other is all about small-town living.
one of them is promised to someone else - maybe the wedding’s already planned and everything. they might have reasons for going through with a loveless marriage.
one of them is married to someone else - it is some weird legal, not-consummated arrangement, or the other ran away long ago because their spouse was an abusive asshole.
they are infatuated with someone else instead of them - they don’t realize yet that this other person is awful.
they are interested in someone else in addition to them - they’re having trouble making a decision on who to be with.
their time is together is limited - one of them is going abroad to study in the fall, their work visa is almost up, or one of them is about to go on a space mission to another planet, never to return.
being together would require a big sacrifice - one of them would have to say no to their dream job or they would have to move away from their family.
they are a danger to the other’s safety - they’re a spy, vampire, drug lord, gang leader, etc.
they think they’ll only make the other unhappy - they’re dying of a disease, suffering under a curse, can’t have children, etc.
they are a suspect - in a murder or robbery case.
they have a reputation - a materialistic douche, a heartless womanizer, a stone cold killer, etc.
they have terrible first impressions of one another - they might have gotten off to an awful start by arguing over something.
they love their freedom - they always saw themselves as the carefree type who would never settle down.
they don’t want distractions - one of them has a very important job to do, and they can’t afford to get sidetracked.
how about corporate enemies to lovers though muse a and muse b both want the promotion and don’t see eye to eye but when they’re forced to work late together and travel together for conferences things change except the twist is maybe one of them was just using the other to get the promotion except uh on real feelings got involved
You know what I really been wanting lately? A plot where we’re able to play characters at different points in their lives. Maybe they met in college, so we could play out their time in college. Could also easily jump into the future where they are figuring out a way to raise their kids and sustain a healthy marriage. Or maybe even go to that ugly in-between period after college where they are figuring life out and struggling. Imagine the show ‘This is Us’ but in RP form. Could be dope.

⠀⠀⠀a plot where muse a and muse b are friends since childhood. they got through school and college together, always supporting each other. here and there, they would have a one night stand while both single, but never evolving to anything else other than friendship. now adults and realizing the dating life is getting way harder as the time goes by, they made a promise: if they reach xx years old single, they would get married. but what would happen if one of them actually started seeing someone more often and the other realizes it's not just a friendship anymore? what would happen if one of those one night stands left marks? ♡
would looove a the summer i turned pretty inspired plot. someone let me write an ugly duckling muse who suddenly has a glow up, against the childhood best friend who always had a crush on them but was always too scared to say anything — except now they’re nervous their sibling could swoop in instead.

Wanted plots based off of rom-coms:
10 things I hate about you: muse a, the badass, was paid to date muse b, the hard headed and scary one that doesn’t date, so that the person that hired them could take out their sibling. Lots of ups and downs with muse b trying to resist muse a’s attempts at charming them and then inevitably giving in. Could even mix in the part where muse b finds out the truth for some extra angst!!
The wedding date: muse a’s sibling is getting married and so muse a hires muse b, an escort, to accompany them home for the wedding. It’s the first time muse a has been home since their fiancé broke things off with them and muse a wants to put on a show that they’re okay and not still caught up on what happened. Muse b charms her and her family and they fall for each other, and her family opens up about certain family secrets that muse a didn’t know before. Cue the drama of muse a being upset that muse b found out before she did and let the angst unfold!!
Going the distance: muse a meets muse b while muse b is in town for a few months for an internship. They vow not to make it anything serious since muse b isn’t permanently there but when muse b’s internship is over, muse a confesses their feelings and the two agree to do long distance. Just give me the ups and downs of long distance!! One trying to find a job where the other is, the late night phone calls, the quick trips, and the universe working against them.
The proposal: muse a is on the verge of getting deported and muse b, her assistant, makes a deal with them to marry them in order for them to get their green card so that they can stay in the states. The downside? The two of them hate each other and muse a knows nothing about muse b. In an attempt to get to know them better, they go home with them over the weekend and in between the fighting with each other and the family, they fall for each other.
27 dresses: muse a is always the bridesmaid for all of her friends and muse b is the opposite. They hate weddings, despite being a writer for weddings due to their own fiancé cheating on them years before. Muse b is trying to find an out in their career so that they can take it in a different direction other than weddings and while trying to come up with a way to do so, muse a leaves their planner behind in a shared taxi/uber with muse b, in which muse b discovers how many times muse a has been in a wedding. So, muse b takes the story to their boss and is given this one chance to make a story better than the ones they write for weddings. Muse A’s sister is getting married and muse b uses that as an excuse to get closer to get their story and in the midst of it all, they fall for her. Before they can take back the story or tell muse a about it, it’s published and they’re completely embarrassed. Cue angst and feelings!!
god i just wanna plot some terrible toxic relationships. the two are constantly arguing and ready to rip each others throats, fighting turns into fucking, one will make out with other people in front of their partner but it turns their partner on, they can insult each other but god forbid someone else do it and they’ll end up dead, if one wants sex they’re gonna get it even if they other doesn’t want it. bring me your killer gang members, manipulative tyrants, physically abusive assholes, power hungry boss, and i’ll do the same. i wanna indulge in urban settings and poc muses. club life, underground artist, hustlers, gang life. give me all of it!

The "playful" flirting that they mean with every bit of their heart.
Overcompensating by giving compliments and being extra nice, but feeling frustrated all the same when their crush doesn't seem to notice their efforts.
The constant daydreams about how life would be if they were together.
