The coffee Hoseok ordered didn’t taste right, kinda burnt and a little more bitter than he usually liked it. It had his tongue almost curling up on itself to get away from the awful flavour, his nose scrunching as he suffered through early morning traffic, his mood already sour before he’d even finished brushing his teeth. 

It had been a week since Hoseok last saw you, and something cruel in the back of his mind told him his mood had dropped since your disappearance from the office, but he pushed that away. Instead he focused on the road, but with the cars at a standstill, his mind drifted back towards the one topic he’d tried to avoid since you left his apartment that night.
