The ceremony is all family, closest friends, bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid of honour, best man and the little ones for the flower girls and ring bearer. All included in a beautiful show of the union of the two individuals that will be spending their lives together.

Hotch would stand there at the arch waiting for you to come down that aisle. In his mind, the thoughts of marriage were—well, he had a complicated relationship with marriage. His mind filled with visions of you and what you would look like coming through the doors of the room you were waiting in to walk down to the arch.

The music would start to play softly. Everyone turns to watch the doors open. They all smile as they watch you start to walk slowly. Your arm is linked in Rossi’s as he wanted to be the one giving you away. He put his hand on your arm to steady you if you started to sway.

Hotch’s eyes would start to tear up as you meet his gaze. The music hitting its peak as you take your time coming down to take his hand. His heart would swell with joy. You were the person he was going to share his life with. He would try to subltly wipe his tears away and Morgan would pat him softly on the back. You would tear up at the sight.

As he said his vows, he would get nervous and reach for your hand which you’d take. It wasn’t that he wasn’t a public speaker but it was a vulnerable moment and he wasn’t used to sharing that part of him with everyone. The team was one thing.

When you said your i do’s, the reality would hit him. He was finally marrying his person. The one. He knew that life wouldn’t be so grey anymore with you in it. 🤍

he'd be so sweet about wedding planning and let you handle things so you can get your dream wedding but without being disinterested - he'd do all he could leading up to it to make the wedding perfect!

he'd be just as invested as you and so would jack! you guys could have him be the ring bearer or even the best man and he'd be so happy that because you make his dad happy

Hotch and Jack would be the supportive cast in the planning. They know you would be stressed about all the small minut details so they would help how they could. By trying to minimise the amount of stress around the house.

You would be starting to feel a little worried about all the planning you have to do and at night when you can’t sleep, Hotch would hold you and tell you that everything was going to be ok, that he and jack would be there to do anything they could to help out.

The both of you cooked a fair amount but Hotch would cook more around that the time of the planning. Being very aware of the your stress levels, he would make sure things were always tidy so that it was one less thing to think about.

Picking out the flavour and decorations was Hotch’s favorite thing out of all the planning. The man wouldn’t admit to loving sweets as much as his son but he loved to taste all the types and combinations of cakes they come up with. Ultimately, you both decided on a vanilla and strawberry marbled cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting.

They would ask to bring a sample of the cake for jack to try when they got home. When Hotch hands it to him, he would be a little bummed out he didn’t get to go with them but he would be happy that this was the cake they chose when he tasted it.

Jack would be a bit worried at first when they first talked about getting married because of his mother, Haley and how it turned out with their divorce before she passed. But the way that you care so deeply for both of them and was there for them through that time and still years later, he knew that you would be a good addition to their little family.

Hotch asking him to be the ring bearer would be a short conversation and Jack would be happy to be able to do it once again. The two of them would go and get him a new outfit as his would be a little too small and from then on, Jack wouldn’t be able to stop talking about it.
