Writeblr Introduction!
hello hello! i thought it was about time i introduce myself lol! i'm still rather new-ish to tumblr, and even though i've been on here for a couple months, i'm still learning what's going on and how to do the things (but i can say i think i've finally got the hang of it! sort of!)
i started this blog to join a writing community: specifically to get inspiration, tips, as well as possibly share my own work.
also!! i would love to make some writer firends!

About the Writer
i'm betty (she/her)! i'm a writer currently trying to finish my third novel. as of right now, i'm majoring in creative writing and hoping to hone my skill some more (especially with my current WIP).
my favorite genres are fantasy and romance but have also become interested in delving into mystery a bit! my favorite tropes are enemies to lovers (like, the whole shebang), gumpy x sunshine, and found family. my favorite book series is the lunar chronicles by marissa meyer (the hunger games is a close second)! i really love pride and prejudice (2005), howl's moving castle (and a couple other ghibli movies, but i think this one is just my favorite), tangled, and a few others i'm blanking on.
outside of writing and reading, i enjoy art (drawing and painting and analyzing), listening to music (and finding new stuff), and playing video games (mostly minecraft and the sims lol, though i'm trying to branch out just a little) but a lot of my time is spent daydreaming about my current wips (and following the whims and demands of my cat)! :D

About My Writing
i've been writing on and off since i was a child, but when i was about 13 or 14 i finished my first novel, sparking a deeper love for the craft! i like using my favorite tropes in my writing and i typically only really write fantasy/romance, but only recently have i delved deep into fantasy, before it was surface level and almost nonexistent in my work.
currently, i'm working on my second fantasy novel, project.between. this is my first piece where i have really thought out the world and, for the first time, not been discouraged by tackling the moster that is worldbuilding!
these longer projects aren't my only writing endeavors though! i also enjoy writing poetry, and might decide to share some of my pieces soon!

along with meeting other writers, i'd also be totally down to beta your works sometime and also just gush about WIPs in general!
