Sir and/or madam I was looking at your art requests post and noticed you don’t do RPF ships which leads me to the question, do you consider Monkees ships as RPF? I understand characters based on/named after the actors can be iffy for some people so I wanted to ask before submitting an art request in case you weren’t comfortable drawing it

(I haven’t thought of a prompt for you yet but I like ur art a whole lot and wanna think of one as an excuse to see more of ur art)

ohhh, ty for the ask! that’s a really good question actually.

i have to say yes for this one, mainly because the members themselves are based off of real people, and that i think it’s more so dependent on wether or not someone thinks that their TV show selfs are separate from their irl counterparts (aka the argument that the monkees are a “fictional band”, which i think isn’t the case). it’s really confusing for me honestly but that’s the best way i can explain it.
