There is blood coating Jimin’s mouth when he stumbles through the doorway, a chunk of his bicep clawed out and a slick stripe of someone else’s clotted plasma running up his clavicle towards his jaw. His eyes flash at the sight of you curled up on the couch, mouth dropping open as your book falls into your lap with a thud.

“Jimin,” you exhale.

He tightly grasps his hand over his wound, nails digging the solid hunk of muscle as though he could somehow halt the blood flow through touch alone.

“Don’t fucking ask,” he says through gritted teeth. You can practically feel the don’t help me don’t touch me don’t you ever acknowledge what this is written beneath his words, but you could not conjure up the ability to care even if you wanted to.
