When You Find Out Your Expecting Twins ~ BTS Reaction
Jin:
Neither of you knew what to say or do as your sonographer introduced you to baby A and to baby B. It was the last thing either of you expected, and having tried so hard to fall pregnant, neither of you could believe that you hadn’t just been blessed with one baby, but two.
Jin was the first to move, “are you sure you’ve not made a mistake or seen something different?”
“No,” she laughed back at him, “I promise you I’m looking at two babies on this monitor right now.”
Jin’s eyes flickered down to you, relieved to see a smile on your face too. “Well, this definitely wasn’t the news I planned on receiving on the drive here this morning, what do you think?”
“I don’t know, I don’t think I can quite wrap my head around it.”
“Pretty strange, right?” Jin grinned, taking a hold of your hand as you turned to take a closer look at the monitor. “Twice the work, twice the noise, and worst of all twice as much poop that’s going to be flying around.”
“That’s not what I want to focus on right now,” you smiled back at Jin, “maybe the work, but definitely not the poop.”
“And less hours sleep, will we even get any sleep with two?”
“We’ll be lucky,” you grinned, “but I’m sure it will be worth it, at some point, when we can catch up on all that sleep too.”
“Two babies, we’re in for a long few years now.”

Yoongi:
His eyes studied the scan as you held it up for him to see, trying to figure out whether he could spot what you were showing him. With two small dots on the scan, you knew what it meant, but Yoongi was completely clueless even after you’d pointed it out to him.
His shoulders shrugged, “it’s the middle of the night, I’m far too tired to think about things now.”
“It’s two,” you grinned, “think about it, there’s two dots in my belly, what could that mean Yoongi?”
After a couple of moments, his eyes widened as finally it began to sink in for him. “Wait, does that mean that we’re pregnant with twins? Were there two babies on that scan?”
“There was, indeed, the midwife told me at the appointment today.”
“Wow,” he breathed, running his hands over the top of his head, “now I feel even worse about the fact that you’re currently pregnant at home all by yourself and I’m over here touring the world and having a great time.”
“Don’t feel bad, this is exciting news,” you tried to reassure him, “you’re going to be a father of two Yoongi, can you believe it?”
“Not right now, but that might just be the time zones talking.”
“I’ll give you some time to let it sink in just yet,” you smiled, “and I’ll keep this scan right beside me for you when you get home.”
“I can’t wait to get back and see you, especially now.”

Hoseok:
Your eyes studied Hobi closely as you walked back to the car, noticing the wide smile that remained on his face. His heart was pounding, the excitement kicking in, especially having just found out the two of you were expecting not one baby, but two.
He looked to you as you climbed into the car, “I feel like this is a surreal dream right now, honestly.”
“Do you want me to pinch you?” You joked, “that way you’ll definitely know that this is real life.”
His head shook as he climbed into the car too, “it just feels so strange, we used to joke about the chance of having twins, never expecting for it to really come true for the both of us.”
“Maybe we manifested it too much and so it just ended up happening.”
“That would be pretty cool,” he laughed, glancing down at your bump as you strapped yourself in. “I can’t believe there’s two in there, all the kicks I’m going to get to feel and all the wriggles that I’ll relax against at night.”
“My belly is going to be bruised horrendously by the end,” you replied, “I’ll be getting kicked by two babies, not just one now.”
“And I will make sure that I take care of you through it too.”
“I know,” you mused, feeling his free hand rest against the top of your leg, “maybe we do seem to have a bit of luck after all.”
“Right now, I feel like I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”

Namjoon:
Immediately, as you looked to Namjoon you could see the bottom lids of his eyes begin to water. Your hand reached out and wiped away the tears as they threatened to spill, your smile as wide as his, filled with excitement and surprise to what your future held.
He chuckled softly under your touch, “I always wanted to be a dad, but I never imagined to twins.”
“Your dreams are coming doubly true,” you grinned, “someone must be looking over you Joon.”
He leant down beside the chair you sat in and wrapped his arm around your shoulders, “thank you for everything, having twins with you is just the icing on top of the cake for me.”
“You do know that I didn’t force my body to have twins, right?”
“You know what I mean,” he chuckled, nudging you gently, “one two, or a thousand babies, it doesn’t matter how many we have, it’s never going to stop me being thankful for everything that you do for me.”
“And I thought you were soppy when the test came back positive,” you continued to tease, “twins has just made you even soppier.”
“I don’t even know what I’m saying right now to be honest.”
“As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters,” you quickly assured him, “we’ve got a pretty crazy road ahead of us now.”
“I’m ready, I’ve never been more ready for anything before.”

Jimin:
The two of you both locked eyes as soon as you walked out of the appointment room, both letting go of laughter. It was news that neither of you had ever expected, but both of you knew straight away exactly what the other was thinking.
Jimin managed to speak just before you did, “they better be a boy and a girl so we can have both.”
“That’s what I was going to say,” you laughed as you left the building, “that would just be perfect.”
Jimin’s smile widened, “obviously I would be happy having two healthy babies but imagine how amazing it would be to have a boy and a girl causing havoc all around the place.”
“We’d both get what we wanted for genders then too.”
“I can’t wait to tell everyone,” he continued to speak, allowing his excitement to come out, “do you know how much the boys have joked about how horrendous it would be if we had twins to ever get to do anything.”
“We can still do things, even with twins,” you assured him, “it just means they’ll have more of a nightmare when it comes to babysitting.”
“I like the way that you think, twins will drive the boys crazy.”
“It’s a shame they signed up to babysitting duties before they knew that we were having twins,” you chuckled, meeting Jimin’s eyes.
“Maybe twins will be more of a nightmare for them then us after all.”

Taehyung:
Immediately you knew exactly what Taehyung was thinking as the sonographer informed you both that the scan showed twins. He had a look of intrigue on his face which you’d learnt to pick up on, almost as if you could read his mind in that exact moment.
His eyes looked to you, “there’s so many possibilities now that we’re having twins Y/N.”
“No,” you instantly replied, “before you ask, not every outfit they wear will be matching together.”
His eyes widened, surprised that you were able to figure him out so easily. “That wasn’t the only thing I was going to suggest, they can have rhyming names and matching nurseries too.”
“Taehyung, we’ll never be able to figure out which one is which.”
“Yes, we will,” he protested, pausing for a moment, “just as long as we end up having a girl and a boy. If they’re the same gender, maybe we’ll just have to draw on their feet or something so we can separate them.”
“I’m not letting you draw on my child’s feet,” you sighed, rolling your eyes at him, “this is real life not Toy Story, Tae.”
“I know, it was just a suggestion, we have other ideas too.”
“I don’t think I want to hear any more of your ideas right now,” you responded, “what you’re saying makes zero sense right now.”
“Trust me, when the babies arrive, you’ll think my idea is great.”

Jungkook:
His hand slipped into yours as soon as the word twins was uttered from the sonographer at your other side. Your eyes stared forwards whilst Jungkook watched over you, continuing to squeeze your hand until you finally began to move and process things.
His lips pressed gently to your cheek, “this is so exciting, we get to have twins Y/N, two babies.”
“It’s a lot,” you whispered quietly, “that’s going to be a heck of a lot of responsibility too for us.”
His head nodded in agreement, “but we’ll do it, we always do things together and get through it. It might be a little bit harder, but we’ve got plenty of time to prepare for it yet.”
“I barely even feel ready to have one baby yet Kook, let alone two.”
“This is just your nerves talking,” he tried to reassure you, squeezing your hand once again, “in a bit of time once it’s sunk in, you’ll be a lot more excited, I promise you. It’s just the initial shock, neither of us expected this.”
“I thought twins were supposed to run in families,” you frowned, “unless you’ve been keeping a terrible secret from me.”
“No, we’ve never had a set of twins in our family, I think at least.”
“At least we get to be the firsts,” you tried to smile, remaining optimistic, “what have we signed ourselves up for now Kook?”
“Don’t worry, we’ll do it, and we’ll be perfect at it too.”
