A “Gutsy” Read.
Getting on the late fandom train again! I have been reading Berserk for the pass few days the manga is so big that I pick it up and drop it just so i don’t do too much. It’s awesome and not for the faint of heart, the level is turned up from Hellsing as far as gore goes, for 30 years this story has been going on and I heard that it will be reaching the end some time soon, thus my reading of it.
Gutts or Gatts is a very big buff boy. Getting injured at points to almost dying his body has limits and he reaches them all the time. His rage, the pure, animalistic, rage, is why I love him. He’s human, with out any powers or advanced body modifications. No, Gutt’s is just one man with a big ass sword facing demons mentally and physically night after night. He’s very broken and can’t show his more sensitive feelings to well, or if at all. Well he does it in his own way I suppose.
A band of men surround Gutts going on and on about how he’ll never get out of this alive. These fully armored grown men. In one swing with Dragon Slayer the whole lot is cut down with blood rain in one swing... DIS. MY. JAM. Yet the softer parts of the manga get to me as well, I want the best for him and Casca... Also fuck Griffith, I gravitate to the big guy for being a war Dragon. Is goes deep in it interpretation about God and religion. Say Guts run into a small girl that is very religious and all she sees is a lost soul in Gutts, Girl: It’s all in his plan for us God will shared his love for you, as he shares his love for me. Gutt’s: God has never loved me, and he never will, listen kid what they’re teaching you about God and bigger plan his all horse shit trust me, if you wanna stick around that’s fine but me... But when night comes you’ll see why God is not there.And why I’ll be the one saving your dumb ass... Not him. Sure she’ll fallowing him, chat with him, but never really know whats going on with him... Until he cuts does demon after demon.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU by Marisa Kenter
I really liked it. It's easy going, but had my heart racing a few times. Great characters and I love Nash.
