Even more confusing when you’re german and a certain piece of german history was taught over and over and over again because we had to know every gruesome detail to prevent history from ever repeating itself. Just to grow up and see your government supporting the wrong side when another genocide is happening.

(And don’t get me wrong I think it’s good to be taught about our history to not be ignorant about it and strive to do better which btw REALLY isn’t hard but like I don’t think it’s necessary to show 10 year olds actual footage of human beings being slaughtered.. Especially to GO AROUND AND SUPPORT THE SAME SHIT ALL OVER AGAIN)
