Just out of curiosity, because The Hunger Games could be so ... nondescript(?), how did you personally imagine Katniss?
The books merely give her a description of “straight black hair, olive skin, grey eyes” but otherwise is there any face claim you imagined as her? Any other details you imagined as her?

i think that the movies overlook the systematic racism the ppl from the seam clearly experience
but at the same time olive skin can still be white
so who knows

also i always thought of her as smallish in stature (bc of her malnourishment) but better fed than the other seam children
she obviously provided for her family and it. wasn’t much but she had kind of a fair share in comparison? idk
