Anyone else remember that thing when you were a child and finally figured out some way to work around the symptoms of your undiagnosed disability, or just simply happened to have a long enough lucky strike with no symptoms to be able to actually accomplish something, and when you went to share the joy with your parents, expressing your small kiddy joy and pride of how you're so happy that your disability that you don't know of and don't understand finally didn't disable you from something, and their response was something along the lines of

"See how much easier doing things is when you don't choose to be like that all the time? :)"
