Lucy's problem

Hi!!! So since we have been in a bit of a drought with Luna fics, I thought that I could try and write one. This is my first fic ever and english isn't my first language so pls be kind. But if any od you have any corrections and tips on how to improve feel free to send them to me. Anyway this started as a one shot but turned into a series so if you guys like it I will make a part 2. Hope you enjoy!!!

----------------------------------------------------Lucy didn’t know how she got herself in this situation. This was never supposed to happen. When she first met Ona she thought she was kind and sweet and so so beautiful but she never imagined that she would fall in love with her. Ona was 8 years younger than her for gods sake and she herself got out of a 7 year old relationship not to long ago. When Lucy and Kiera broke up Lucy never thought she would love again. Her and Kiera ended on good terms but god damn it if it didn’t hurt, she felt like her heart has been ripped apart. But the more she hung out with the younger right back the more she thought about her. When she saw Ona smile, she got butterflies, she would stay up at night just thinking about her, wondering what it would be like if she had her sleeping by her side in her bed instead of just being alone. It was getting unhealthy at this point, it’s a wonder no one noticed her massive (yes she can admit to her self that her crush isn’t small) crush on Ona with the amount of staring she was doing. Mapi and Mariona were trying to set her up with someone every time they went out and it was starting go get annoying, but she didn’t know how they would react if she told them about her crush on the right back. Nobody noticed her crush until today, and to her surprise the person that noticed it was Alexia. Maybe she shouldn’t be surprised that her capitan noticed but she didn’t think that Alexia would be the first one to discover her well… small secret.

They were at the gym and after a day full of training Lucy was glad that she could finally let her mind wonder for a bit. Just as she was setting up her squat rack, she heard a melodious laugh across the room. Ona was siting and talking to Salma while lifting a set of dumbbells, but the most important thing to Lucy was that she was laughing. Of course, it didn’t hurt that she could see Onas muscles rippling because of her short-sleeved t-shirt but her laugh and smile… well those were truly magical. She knew she was staring, but she wasn’t aware of how long she was standing there looking at Ona. That was until Alexia nudged her, Lucy almost dropped the plate on the floor. She flushed and looked at her capitan while Alexia just smirked at her, pated her shoulder and told her they were going to talk later.

Now Alexia was fully aware that Ona liked Lucy. The Spanish girls were subjected to Onas rants about Lucy often enough after they got her to admit that she was harboring a crush on Lucy and it wasn’t only admiration she felt towards the older player. The thing Alexia wasn’t aware of was the fact that Lucy liked Ona back, or at least it seemed like it with the way the older right back was looking at Ona. She knew they were getting closer and that they were spending more time together but she kind of assumed that Lucy would look at Ona more in a “younger player she could take under her wing” kind of way and not “I want to kiss you” kind. But hey she isn’t here to judge Lucy but her and other Spanish girls kind of already started to plan on way to make getting over Lucy for Ona well easier. It looks like she would need to send a text to the group chat to stop the plan after her talk to Lucy. It wasn’t that she wanted to intimidate her, she knew that Lucy wasn’t the type of girl that would intentionally hurt Ona. But she wanted to talk to her about it because Lucy looked genuinely panicked when she noticed that Alexia had caught her staring, and hey they haven’t had a good chat in a while and she wanted to know how Lucy was doing.

Lucy and Alexia were meeting at a cafe nearby the training center, and Lucy was slightly panicking. Alexia will show up any minute now and she was nervous, what if Alexia was angry at her for liking Ona or something like that. She knew she wasn’t thinking rationally but she didn’t know what to think any more. Alexia saw her staring and she is the first person that found out about her crush, and Lucy truly didn’t plan on talking about her crush on Ona to Alexia. But she was going to have to bite the bullet because Alexia just came in and saw her.

“Hi Lucy”

“… Hi Alexia”

They kind of stared at each other for a second until a waiter came and took their orders.

“Lucy listen I’m not mad at you or anything like that, if that’s what you’re thinking” started Alexia “ I just wanted to check in with you, see if you wanted to talk about it. After all you looked incredibly panicked when you noticed that I caught you.”

“So you aren’t upset with me in any way?” asked Lucy, still quite unsure of this conversation.

“Dios mio, of course I’m not upset. I don’t have anything to be upset over, what you have a crush on Ona big deal. It’s just that I wanted to talk to you” At this point Alexia was honestly a bit confused (and a little bit concerned), this wasn’t the Lucy that she knew but she truly wanted to help after, all they were teammates and more important than that they were friends.

“I don’t know Ale” sighed Lucy “It’s just… I’m not sure that this is a good situation to be in.”

“Lucy what are you talking about”

“You know what I’m talking about, I mean I have a hopeless crush on a girl 8 years younger than me not to mention that me and Kiera broke up not that long ago”

“Right… lets solve this problem by problem” said Alexia, it looked like this situation was a bit complicated, well it was complicated according to Lucy not her but oh well.

“Doesn’t Kiera have a new girlfriend, what is her name again ah yea Laura” she asked.

“I mean yes but still; they aren’t at the same club. Wouldn’t it be at least a bit mean and rude towards her if all of a sudden I showed up with a new girlfriend that plays with her in the same club. That is if Ona liked me, which I’m sure she doesn’t.”

“We are going to unpack that last comment in a bit aright” Alexia said “Kiera is a grown woman that cares about you. I’m 99 percent sure that she would be happy if she saw that you are happy again even if she had to see your new “love” every day”

“Yea… you’re probably right. She is that type of person after all” Lucy nodded her head.

“But Lucia what was that about Ona for sure not liking you, did she say something to you to indicate that” Alexia was honestly confused Ona has been looking at Lucy since she came to Barca, she was practically drooling the second Lucy lifted up her shirt. Did Lucy seriously not notice that?

“Alexia come on, Ona is 24 and I’m 32. I’m 8 years older then her and out of my prime while she didn’t even start hers. Honestly who would want a footballer with a half working knee” Lucy looked close to tears at this point.

“Lucy… surely you don’t believe that” now Alexia was really starting to get worried” Lucy everyone still adores you, and even if you’re out of your prime which I’m not even sure you really are, you are still a good footballer. Dios mio don’t you see any tik toks I mean everyone is obsessed whit you and your looks, and it’s not like I blame them you look hot for fucks sake. Also, so what if Ona is younger then you, she’s a grown woman that can make her own decisions”

“I guess when you put it like that… it doesn’t seem that bad I guess” said Lucy. She was kind of feeling better about this whole situation now, Alexia is a good person and she wouldn’t lie to her about stuff like this.

Now don’t get her wrong Alexia knew that Lucy had some problems with self-confidence. Even if you would never guess that Lucy had a problem with that she was aware of that problem existing. She just want aware that it ran this deep, she thought that the problem was small, which in hindsight was a pretty stupid thing to think considering everything Lucy went thru with her knee and career. So that part made a bit of sense but the looks part, well in that part she was honestly a bit stumped, but she can try and fix all thar later. For know she will give Lucy a few tips tips look out for some things in the next few days and try to bring her mood up.

“ Ok Luce listen, try to pay more attention to Ona and how she reacts around you for a few days alright. And if after those few days pass and you still think that you have no chance, we will talk again then alright?”

“Ok I guess, but I really don’t think anything will come out of that Alexia” said Lucy with a small smile.

“Hush you. Now let’s talk about something else. We haven’t had a good conversation in a few weeks”

Lucy's problem pt.2

Hi, guys i know its been a while since I posted the first part and Im sorry for wating this long to post the secnod part but I had school and a lot of exams. Reminder english isnt my first language and this is my second fic so please be gentle, but if you have any advice whit how i can improve and whit what to add pls tell me.

A week passed since she had her talk with Alexia and she had to admit that how Ona was when she was with her vs when she was with their teammates was in fact a bit different. With her she was more touchy and a bit more cheery and talkative then she was with their teammates but that doesn’t have to mean anything. Maybe Ona was more comfortable with her for some reason.

Lucy still tried to act normal through this week and she was fairly successful but the thing is that every time Alexia saw something she thought was a bit suspicious with how Ona was acting she would nudge Lucy or whisper in her ear. The good thing is, her and Ale have started to hang out more, they went to get coffee together after training almost every day and they were a lot closer now. Alexia was basically the only person she could talk to about her crush and in turn Alexia told her about her new girlfriend Olga.

But whit the beginning of a new week Lucy started to notice that others began shooting her strange looks when she was talking or whispering something with Alexia, especially Mapi and Pina. She tried to talk to them about it but every time they would just brush her off and tell her nothing’s wrong.

She even tried to talk to Ingrid but the Norwegian got really quiet and told her that she can’t say anything and that she was sorry. And while that all was happening, she noticed that Ona started to be a bit distant from her, not a lot but enough for her to notice especially whit how much she paid attention to her. She talked about it with Ale but she was just as confused as her and told her that she will try talking with Mapi about it.

Ona knew she wasn’t being fair to Lucy and that she was acting colder towards her now, but she just couldn’t help it. She was being stupid, I mean even the reason that she was acting like this was stupid. She was jealous of Alexia, Alexia her capitan, it was nonsense really but Ona truly couldn’t help it.

Out of nowhere Alexia just got impossibly closer to Lucy and they went to get coffee almost every day, she had tried to do that since she got in Barca. And she was a bit hurt Alexia knew that she had a crush on Lucy, almost every girl that played in the Spanish national team knew that, and still it looked like Alexia had a slight crush on Lucy too. Ona knew that she couldn’t stop Alexia from having feelings towards Lucy but the capitan could have at least told her.

 Mapi and Pina also noticed their sudden closeness so she knows it’s not all in her head. Lucy noticed she was acting strange towards her, or at least it looks like she did whit how many concerned glances she was sending her but Ona really didn’t want to talk to her right now. She thought it was obvious that she liked Lucy but it looks like Lucy inly sees her as a friend.

 Anyway, she planned on ignoring this situation and all the people in it since she really couldn’t handle it right now. From the beginning she knew that there was a big chance that she will get her heart broken but she just wasn’t ready to face that reality just yet. For now, she just planned to start to get away from Lucy and interact whit her capitan as little as physically possible.

Alexia was truly confused whit what was happening, Lucy was just confused as her and Mapi was no help since she won’t tell her what’s happening. Mapi in fact told her to either first admit her secret or to figure it out herself. Now the thing is … the only secret she has is her relationship whit Olga, but she doesn’t know how Mapi would know about her relationship and that didn’t seem to have any connection with the problem since Ona was acting colder towards Lucy and especially towards her. But there was no way in hell that Ona was upset about anything connected whit Olga since she doesn’t even know Olga exists.

The real problem in all this was that not only was her best friend acting strangely towards her but Onas’s acting was really starting to get to Lucy and her plan to show Lucy that Ona likes her back was slowly falling in the water and she didn’t know what to do.

She couldn’t fix the problem since she didn’t know what the problem was and no one will tell her, whit every passing day Lucy is starting to look more and more like a kicked puppy and whit their newfound friendship, the new things she knows about her now, Alexia was starting to get really worried.

 In the end the only solution that she could think of was cornering Ona and forcing her to talk to her. Now she isn’t proud of her plan but at this point she didn’t have any other ideas, and like hell will she let this problem stop her from proving to Lucy that Ona liked her and that she’s worth it.

 They were having a water break and Alexia decided that now was her best chance to tell Ona to see her later, so she detached herself from Lucys side and went towards Ona.

“Hey Ona”

“… Hi Capitana”

“Listen Ona I don’t want to worry you but could you come talk to me after training?”

Ona hesitated “ Do I have to Alexia?” 

“I’m afraid you do yes”

“Fine then” Ona sighed “I’ll talk to you after training should I just come to the conference room”

 Alexia was starting to get worried now, usually Ona wouldn’t act like this when she just asked to talk to her “Yea sure let’s do it like that.”

 And that’s how three hours later Alexia found herself waiting for Ona to come in the conference room. Speak of the devil just as she thought that the door opened and Ona came thru. 

“So… what do you want to talk about Ale.” The moment Ona said the nickname a grimce apeard on her face and that’s how Alexia figured out that Ona really had a problem and a part of the problem was Alexia.

 “Ona just what’s been happening whit you for the past week. You aren’t talking to me and youre basically avoiding Lucy”The moment she said Lucys name Ona scoffed. 

“Of course you are worried about it” Ona mumbled. 

“Ona what… what are you talking about?” And for some reason that question really seemed to piss Ona off. 

“What I’m talking about??? You have to be kidding do you really have no idea why I’m upset whit you, I admit I can’t be upset whit Lucy it’s not her fault that she doesn’t like me back BUT YOU, well I think I at least have a little right to be upset whit you” Ona was fuming at this point.

 “Ona wha… what are you even talking about.” This was to much Alexia was getting more and more confused and this conversation wasn’t at all going the way she thought it would.

“What I’m talking about is you still getting with Lucy without even telling me even tho you knew that I liked her.” All the anger that Ona had in her body suddenly evaporated and now she was on a verge of crying. “I know I have no authority on telling you who to like or date but you could at least have told me that you liked Lucy… I thought we were friends.” Ona was crying now, her tears slowly sliding down her face as she hiccupped. 

“Carino no no no, of course we are friends and I don’t know where you got that but me and Lucy aren’t dating not even close to it and I don’t like her in that way. I don’t truly I don’t you have to believe me. I wouldn’t do that to you” Alexia was now slightly panicking while trying to gently wipe Onas tears away. She truly didn’t know how she had gotten the idea that her and Lucy were dating but she had to fix this, and she had to fix this now. 

“Really?” Ona said whit all that hope in her eyes and while hiccupping and Alexias heart broke a little. 

“Ona I really am not dating Lucy. I don’t know how you got that idea or if someone told something to you but I wouldn’t lie about this to you. Me and Lucy just got a bit closer and she turned to me about her problem since I’m the only one that know about it”

 “Oh…” Ona didn’t know if she ever felt more embarrassed in her life. She wanted a hole to swallow her whole… but at least Alexia and Lucy aren’t dating. “Ah..um… well do you maybe then think I have a bit of a chance whit her.”

 Alexia was going to strangle herself whit those two… well the problem is finally solved tho “Yes, I do. But Ona you have to talk to her about this, you avoiding her really hurt her and you have to at least apologize and if not explain the whole problem just say you were feeling stressed or something. But Ona you have to say something. Come on sit and well talk about it yea.”

 “Ok… thank you Ale, and I’m sorry” 

“Its ok Onita”

Lucy's problem pt.3

Hi guys, so pt.3 is finally here. I planed for this to be the last part but it looks like there will be at least one more. Like always if you have any criticizam pls tell me but pls be gentle. Hope you guys enjoy. (ps. I didnt relase that my asks were closed, but i fixed it and they are open now so be free to send anything).

Few days have passed since I finished my talk whit Alexia and I’m feeling a bit better now. In the end I just jumped to conclusions to quickly and got a bit lost in my head.

Alexia and Lucy weren’t even close to dating in fact Ale blushfuly admitted that she was actually seeing someone and that she was helping Lucy get thru something. Now that I solved the whole problem, I feel like an idiot to be honest and I still have to talk to Lucy. And I have no idea how to talk to her about this without admitting my feelings in the process.

The worst thing is that I have to explain this to Lucy soon, like preferably tomorrow but that leaves me whit little time to think of a plan… but I also think that Alexia will kill me if I don’t tell Lucy soon.

 I didn’t even notice that me not talking to her affected Lucy this much since I was so in my head. Unfortunately, this also meant that I also started hoping that Lucy likes me back since she was so upset when I wasn’t talking to her.

Ugh all this thinking is making my head hurt, why is this so complicated. She usually didn’t have so many problems whit talking and flirting whit girls she liked.

But Lucy was different, she was so carefree and confident but she could also be serious when the situation asked for it. She was kind and competitive but also shy and she would get lost in her thoughts every now and then. And Lucy was just so attractive, she was basically perfect and Ona couldn’t get enough of her. She didn’t want to admit it, but she missed her even if she was the one that started ignoring Lucy. She missed talking to her, and she missed Lucy hugs. At this point the only thing she could do is admit her feelings to Lucy and hope for the best, I mean Lucy probably won’t ignore her and stop being friends whit her even if she doesn’t like her back.

 Lucy wasn’t even sure why she was crying, she knew Ona wouldn’t like her back. Damn it why did she let herself believe what Alexia told her. She debated calling Ale to come over but she didn’t want to seem pathetic. She was pretty sure she was also a bit drunk since she started to drink about an hour ago but she just couldn’t help herself.

 She felt miserable Ona had been ignoring her for more than a week now and she doesn’t know why. If Ona would tell her what she had done Lucy would just apologize but every time that she tries to talk to her about it, hell even when she is just trying to talk to her Ona just makes an excuse and says that she can’t talk now.

 After an hour of debating on calling Alexia, she just decided to swallow her pride, or what’s left of it anyway, call her friend and hope that Ale wouldn’t think any less of her for this.  

Alexia answered after the fourth ring.

“Hey Lucy what’s up”

“Hey Ale I hope I’m not bothering you”

“You are fine Luce I told you to call me whenever, what do you need”

“I was hoping you could come over to mine, I’m just…. I feel awful and you are the only one that knows about the situation”

“Yea Luce I’ll be there in a few”

When Lucy called her in 9 pm on a Sunday she kind of expected that the problem will be about Ona, she just wasn’t expecting it to be so serious. Lucy sounded miserable on the phone and also like she was a bit tipsy. Alexia tried to get to Lucys place as fast as she could, after all her friend needed her, but while she was driving the only thing she thought about was that Ona needed to hurry it up a bit whit that confession.

At this point she was ready to tell Lucy about Onas feelings herself but it wasn’t her place to do that and she kind of doubted that Lucy would even believe her. Now that she was talking to her a lot more Alexia could see the cracks in Lucys façade every now and then, whenever someone made any kind of joke or even compliment about her body Lucys face would kind of scrunch up a bit, and even tho she looked like she needed a hug basically every day now every time Alexia would try to hug her Lucy would just stiffen. Now that she thought about it any time she saw someone try and hug her she would always stiffen, the only person that could touch Lucy without her stiffening was Ona.

When Ona hugs her Lucy basically seems to melt into her. Alexia chuckled a bit, those two really were made for each other she wondered how none of her teammates noticed yet, hell she doesn’t know how it took so long for her to notice that Lucy had that awfully big crush on Ona.

After a few minutes of driving she came into Lucys driveway, parked and went to Lucys door to go inside.

“Lucy” Alexia called out.

“In here,” shouted Lucy. Yea Alexia was now sure that Lucy was at least a bit drunk.

“What’s happened Luce” Lucy was siting on the couch a bottle of whisky on the floor.

“I don’t know how to deal whit this”

“Deal whit what Luce”

“Whit all those feelings. I feel fucking pathetic, I can’t stop thinking about her and she wont even look my way anymore.”

“Lucy come on Onas probably just stressed, she will talk to you soon I’m sure of it”

“Bullshit Ale, I’m the only one she isn’t talking to, she even started talking to you again, don’t think I haven’t noticed. I just... “a sob tore its way from Lucy and her body shook” I don’t know what I did wrong. I don’t even know why I’m so upset by this; I never felt this way for anyone, not even Kiera. And I already ruined it, she won’t look at me Ale” Lucy raised her head from her hands and looked at Alexia whit tears running down her face.

“I’m so pathetic I had to call you on your day off to comfort me. Jesus I’m such a mess.” “I don’t even blame her anyway, if I were her I wouldn’t look my way either” Lucy whispered.

Alexias heart completely broke, hearing her friend talk about herself this way was awful. She so wanted to tell her the truth, tell her that Ona liked her back but she couldn’t brake Onas trust like that. The only thing she could do is comfort her friend and that’s what she did.

“Lucy no, don’t say that don’t even think that. You are incredible, anybody would be so lucky to have you. And you aren’t pathetic for calling me I told you to call me if you EVER needed anything and I’m so glad you did. You aren’t weak for needing comfort everyone needs it. Hell, you would be super human if you didn’t need it. And even tho you are out worldly in many ways this isn’t one of them and that’s completely fine. I’m so happy to be your friend and to know you better now, you are such an amazing person and I won’t allow you to talk like that about yourself.”

“I don’t know Ale…” Lucy whimpered tears still streaming down her face as she faced the floor. “Clearly the problem is me, with Ona, even with Kiera. They figured it out I’m pretty sure you will too soon enough.”

“Lucy you aren’t the problem. Hey hey listen to me, you yourself said that the brake up whit Kiera was mutual. You didn’t brake up because of something you did or because you weren’t good enough for her, you both just kind of fell out of love and that’s ok, it happens. It wasn’t your fault.”

Lucy just stared at her while her body shook with sobs.

“I know you aren’t the biggest fan of hugs but please let me hold you for a second, we will both feel at least a bit better.”

Lucy hesitated but still leaned into her open arms, and while in the first few moments she was quite tense she relaxed a bit as time went on and her cries calmed down a bit.

“How do you even know I don’t like hugs, I’m pretty sure I never told you that” Lucy whispered after a while of them just sitting.

“I noticed when we started talking more. You would always stiffen whenever someone hugged you and you would put a strained smile on. Well at least when that someone wasn’t our precious Onita then you would just melt.” Alexia laughed a bit and then more when she noticed that Lucy had gone completely red.

“Ha ha” Lucy grumbled while wiping her eyes “I didn’t think anyone would notice.”

“Well, I did” Alexia chuckled” Now get up and go to sleep, its pretty late and you look exhausted. Ill clean up here and then go home”

“Ale you don’t have to do that, I’ll do it I already asked so much of you today.”

“Lucia go to sleep. I already told you that I don’t mind coming over and we still have training tomorrow and I won’t have one of my right backs dead on her feet.”

Lucy sighed but got up and headed to her room “Thank you Ale truly”

“Yea yea don’t sweat it go to sleep Bronzey”

“Good night, Ale.”

“Good night, Luce.”

Lucy's problem pt.4

Hi guys, so the final part is here faster then expected but I had time today and wanted to write it. Since this series is officially over I will start writing one shots soon, tell me if you have any ideas or if you want anything specific. As always pls tell me if you have any criticism but pls be kind. I hope you enjoy.

When Ona saw Lucy in training next morning, she was a bit surprised and not in a good way. The older girl looked like she barely slept, she had big bags under her eyes and her eyes seemed a bit red. In short Ona was really concerned, but she also didn’t know what to do. She wanted to go and ask the girl if she was ok and hug her, but at the same time she felt it would be weird if she did that since she had been ignoring Lucy for over a week now. In the end it seemed like she wouldn’t even get a chance to go to Lucy since Alexia walked in the changing room a second later and immediately dragged Ona out of the changing room towards another empty room.

“Ale what is happening.”

Alexia sighed “Ona listen I really didn’t want to rush you, but please you have to talk to Lucy soon. I hate that I’m saying this to you since Lucy would likely kill me if she knew I was talking to you about this but please Ona just talk to her. That girl is a mess and ever since you stopped talking to her out of nowhere she has been worse.”

“Alexia what are you saying.”

“Ona I’m sorry but I can’t say more then what I already said.”

“Are you kidding!!! You can’t just say all that and expect me not to have any questions!”

“I know Ona I know, but please just talk to her today.”

“Ale I … I don’t know how to tell her about everything. I can’t find a way to explain everything without admitting my feelings towards her…”

“I am going to get grey hair whit you two I swear to god” Alexia whispered.

“Ona you have to talk to her. You and I both know that even if Lucy somehow didn’t return your feelings that she would still stay friends whit you. But if you don’t talk to her, I can’t guarantee that you will stay friends Oni. Something is still better than nothing, no?”

“I guess you’re right capi. Ill … Ill talk to her today ok.”

“Well thank god. Ok no go back and change we still have training today.”

“Yea ok, let’s go.”

Three hours later training was done and the girls were slowly preparing to go home. Lucy was almost completely ready when Ona came over to her.

“Ona… hi.”

“Hi Luce… Listen um I was wondering if you could come over to mine so we can talk?”

“Ah um yea sure. Um Do… Do you want to go now or?”

“YES. Um I mean yes just let me get all my stuff and we’ll go.” Jesus Ona was embarrassing herself. She didn’t mean to shout out that yes, and she was pretty sure she was never this red in her life. Still she hurried up whit packing her stuff. Ona noticed that Lucy was shuffling behind her, when she turned around to look at her she noticed that Lucy looked pretty nervous and was completely red in the face. Ona looked around and saw that basically half the locker room was staring at them and the other half was just pretending that they aren’t looking at them. Ona threw all the remaining stuff she had in her bag took Lucys hand and sped out of the room. Lucy looked a bit shocked but still fallowed her without protest. She only let go of her hand when they got to the parking lot and had to get into their cars.  When they got to her house they both quietly came in and Ona immediately put water to boil for the tea while Lucy waited.

“Ona why did you ask me to come here whit you.”

“I… well I wanted to talk to you.”

“Yea, and please what do you want to talk about considering you were ignoring for the better part of the last two weeks.” Lucy scoffed.

“That’s exactly what I wanted to talk about. Listen Lucy I’m sorry, I’m really really sorry. I was an asshole to you and you did nothing to deserve that treatment. “

“So, what you are going whit the whole “its not your fault, its mine” rhetoric. Really Ona… I just want to know what I massed up for you to suddenly stop talking to me. Listen if I made you uncomfortable just tell me, ill take a step back but I just need you to tell me the truth.”

Ona was getting a bit lost, this conversation was not at all going the way she expected it to go. She thought Lucy would just be angry at her and demand an explanation on why Ona was acting like an asshole and to put the whole blame on her (which was true Ona really was the only one at fault here), but instead she got Lucy putting the whole blame on herself. In the end Ona now felt even worse, she didn’t want Lucy to think that she did anything bad, Ona was just being an idiot that’s it.

“Lucy please don’t put the blame on yourself you did nothing wrong. I was just being an idiot. Something happened and I got all in my head.”

“Then what happened. Ona if you want me to believe you, you’re going to have to tell me what happened.”

“Lucy please…” Ona was close to begging she really didn’t want to tell the older woman why she did what she did.

“Ona you have to tell me.”

“I… fine I got jealous. There I said it I was jealous, happy now.”

“Wha… what were you jealous of. Oni that doesn’t make any sense.”

“I was jealous of you and Alexia” Ona grumbled, she was close to tears at this point.

Lucy was so confused, her and Alexia were just friends and nothing more why would Ona be jealous … oh… Ona had a crush on Alexia. Great. That’s just what she needed; fuck she was going to cry.

“Oh… listen Ona I’m sorry, but you have to know that there is nothing going on between me and Ale. If you want to go for her you wouldn’t have to worry about me.”

“I know that you don’t like … wait what… why would I go for Alexia????”

“Well you have a crush on her no?” Lucy said as she looked to the other side while trying to hide her tears.

“I… WHAT??? How did you from my whole speech get to the conclusion that I like Ale. No, you idiot I like you.”

“You.. you like me.” Lucy pointed at herself.

“YES, yes I like you. And I get that you don’t like me back I know I just you had to know I gue “

Lucy cut her off “I like you back, you asshole. Why do you think I was so down the past few days. Hell, I practically cried myself to sleep last night.”

“I can’t stop thinking about you” Lucy whispered tears now freely falling down her face.

“Luce?”

“Yea?”

“Can I please kiss you?”

Ona didn’t even have to finish her sentence before Lucy took her face in her hands and kissed her. The kiss tasted salty because both of them were crying. But that was ok since they finally had each other.

After a few hours of both kissing and talking it out Lucy asked Ona out on a real date and now they were just cuddling while watching some show.

“Wait I have a question.”

Ona looked up from where she was laying whit her head on Lucys chest, “yea.”

“Yes, did you by any chance talk whit Ale about all this.”

“Yea she was the one that told me to tell you and she found out about my crush long ago. Why are you asking?”

“I cant believe her, she knew that we both liked each other and she didn’t tell us.”

“Wait she knew you liked me back????”

“YES. She was the only one who knew I’m going to kill her.”

“While I get your point, she was the one that basically made me tell you, without her I don’t believe I would have ever found the courage to tell you.”

A little secret

Hi so this fic is based on a request. I changed it up a bit and in the end it ended up being a lot longer than i planned but here we are. As i said before english is not my first language but if you see any mistakes or things i should improve on pls tell me (but be kind). Enjoy!

“Lucy come on we are going to be late” Ona groaned.

“We still have time, and I want to kiss you” Lucy murmured against her lips. “Besides I’m won’t be able to even touch you when we get there, let me have this.” She said as her lips began going down Ona’s neck.

“You are so needy I hope you know that. But we have to go.” Giving Lucy one last kiss the brunette left her girlfriends arms to get her bag and get going. “Come on Luce today is the Clasico Ale will have our head if we are even a minute late, and we can’t get there in the same car you know this.”

“I know, I know.” Lucy grumbled “I just wanted one last moment before the game.  We are coming back to mine after the game and getting take out right?”

“Yup, now come on move your but we have to go.”

When Lucy came into the changing room 3 minutes after Ona, she saw that almost everyone was already there. She said hi to the girls and silently went to her cubby to put on her shoes and kit. Just as she was finishing tying up her laces Mapi came roaring thru the door.

“HOLA CHICAS!!!! Is everyone ready for the Clasico.”

“We are ready Maps you can calm down.” Ona chuckled from her side of the room.

“Oh oh oh look who it is, well you look less nervous now then for your last Clasico don’t you Onita” Mapi said as Ona blushed and the rest of the room began to chuckle.

“Oh leave her alone Mapi, of course she would be nervous for her first Clasico don’t act like you weren’t. Alexia told me all about it.” Lucy chuckled

“I… ALEXIA!! Why the hell would you tell that to Lucy .“ Alexia just singed as Mapi hit her on the head.

“Mapi calm down, you were there when we told her that story. And Lucy since when do you defend Ona.” Alexia now had a smirk on her face as she looked at Lucy whit her brow raised.

“What, now I can’t even defend others Ale seriously.”

“You can sure you can it’s just that you’ve never done it. Well anyway let’s get ready ladies the game is starting soon and I need you all at 110 % alright. Let’s win this classico.”

And whit the whole team excited and shouting they went outside.

They were wining, it was half time and they were already up 4 – 0. But whit Barcelona winning Madrid seemed to get more and more reckless.

“Ok girls gather up” Alexia shouted since the break was coming to an end. “They are getting more aggressive and I don’t want anyone to get hurt today so be careful please. Ona, I don’t know if I’m imagining things but they seem to be targeting you specifically.”

“Yea I don’t know what’s up with that. Every time I get the ball it seems like number 21 wants to knock me off my feet.”

“Ok Ona be extra careful please. But otherwise, we are doing great girls keep it up. I think we can score at least 3 more goals yea.”

Ona saw Lucy looking at her with concerned eyes, asking if she was ok. Ona herself wasn’t sure why they were after her and everything was starting to hurt a bit but she didn’t want to worry Lucy so she just nodded and sent her a small discreet smile.

And with the break over the girls once again went on the pitch.

Twenty minutes have passed since the beginning of the second half and the aggressiveness was getting worse. In the one moment that she didn’t have the ball Ona joked with Aitana that she will be surprised if she gets out of this game in one piece and almost got a smack on the head for the joke, with Aitana grumbling at her that she shouldn’t say stuff like that.

They were up 5 – 0 but the brunette hasn’t really contributed to any goals since she was always getting pushed as soon as she got the ball. Ona could sense that Lucy was fuming because of the tackles but Ona herself was getting irritated, she wanted to at least get an assist.

Right now Madrid’s goal keeper Misa had the ball and they were wating for her to shoot it out. Ona saw the ball flying in her direction and made a run for it, but she didn’t see that one Madrid player also had the same thought and when Ona jumped to head the ball towards Aitana she felt a boot connect with her head. She let out a scream and suddenly everything went black.

As soon as Lucy heard the scream she knew who it was, she turned in the direction were the scream came from only to see her girlfriend lying on the ground. Her feet moved on their own and she isn’t sure if she ever run this fast in her life. The right back crossed the pitch in record time, and only Aitana was there before her. Lucy dropped to her knees her breathing raged as she looked at her girl. She was so panicked Ona’s eyes were closed and when Lucy touched her, she wasn’t responding.

“MEDIC! WE NEED THE MEDIC!“ Lucy screamed when she saw that everyone around her was frozen in shock. She gently stroked Onas’s hair and face while whispering to her to wake up.

Suddenly Aitana was kneeling besides her, saying something but Lucy thru her panicking couldn’t actually hear what Aitana was saying. She didn’t respond until she felt her shoulder being shaken and then hearing Aitana say that she should probably move and that if Ona wakes up now she would probably want to see someone more familiar in front of her. Lucy almost growled at her, the right back wanted to scream at Aitana say that there was no one that knew Ona better than her in this team, that Ona would be the happiest seeing her if she wakes up. But she bit her tongue and simply pushed Aitana’s hand of her shoulder.

 In what felt like an hour but was maybe one minute the medics were by her side gently checking Ona’s head. She still hasn’t woken up and Lucy felt like crying. By now their teammates made a circle around them to hide them from the fans and cameras. Everyone was concerned but also a bit confused, nobody expected Lucy of all people to react this way. Hell, nobody knew that the two girls interacted with each other outside training and their interaction on the field were also very limited. Just as the medical team was about to put Ona on the stretcher Ona opened her eyes.

Everything was fuzzy and she felt sleepy and dizzy. Ona could make out that people were around her still she couldn’t really focus on anything. But then she felt those gentle touches on her cheek and hear the softly whispered words. She instantly realized who was in front of her even tho she could only make out Lucy’s silhouette.

“Luce…”

“Hey carino. Can you try to stay awake for me for a bit please.” Lucy asked softly.

“Don’t know Luce… my head hurts and everything’s blurry.” Ona slurred. Grateful that her girlfriend was talking in Spanish since she wasn’t sure if she would be able to understand what was being said if it were in English, she could hardly comprehend what was being said anyway.

“I know princessa but please try to stay awake, they need to get you on the stretcher please Amore.” Lucy softly told her and at the same time nodded at the medical team that they can start putting Ona on a stretcher since they stopped with their efforts when they saw Ona wake up.

As soon as she gave the sigh the medical team started moving and transferred Ona on the stretcher.

“Luce it hurts please…” Ona whined and everyone saw that she will lose consciousness soon.

“I know baby I know. You can go back to sleep now I’m here.” As soon as those words were out of her mouth Ona fell unconscious again.

Lucy cursed under her breath as she watched Ona being caried away, she realized that she was probably going to have to stay on the pitch since there was no one there that could replace her.

When Lucy turned around to look at her team, she saw that everyone was looking at her with concerned but at the same time confused look. Lucy was so close to crying and she really didn’t want to deal with this right now. As soon as she saw Mapi open her mouth to start asking what that was she shoot her a glare and told her to go back to her spot so they could finish the game.

Alexia was confused but she also saw that Lucy might punch someone if they stayed here, so before anyone could ask any more questions, she commanded everyone to get back to their spots. After all they still had a game to finish and the faster they were done the faster everyone could check up on Ona.

As soon as the whistle for the of the game was heard Lucy was running towards the medical room. She didn’t stop outside to check on others or to talk with fans, honestly, it’s a miracle that she even stayed on the filed after Ona went down. She made it to the medical room in record time and there she saw Ona awake. She was lying down while the doctor was still checking her head but her eyes were still open. Lucy breathed a sigh of relief and Ona’s eyes turned towards her. When she saw her Ona offered her a slight smile and relief washed over her face, she grimaced in pain not even a second later but that didn’t matter since Lucy was now here.

Lucy came by her side and took her hand to start kissing the younger woman’s knuckles.

“Luce… you’re here”

“I’m here baby, here and going to stay here whit you. How are you doing.”

“Everything hurts, and they called the ambulance to get me checked out in the hospital. The ambulance will be here very soon I think.”

“Mhm ok.” Lucy took a big breath before kissing Onas’s palm “Doc do you know to which hospital they are taking her.”

“I think they are going to the La Maternitat i Sant Ramon hospital, the ambulance should be here in a minute or two.”

“Thank you” Lucy said before turning back to Ona. “Alright Bubs I’ll wait with you here until they arrive and then I’ll go take our stuff and go straight to the hospital after. Is that alright with you?”

“Of course Luce. Thank you for being here.” Ona looked around the room seemingly confused about something before looking back at Lucy ”Where is everyone else?”

“They are probably still outside or something I don’t know. I came here as soon as I heard the whistle, tho I imagine they have a lot of questions because I reacted the way I did. Ughhh I don’t want to talk to them right now especially not about our relationship. Omg this is going to suck.”

Ona giggled before slightly catching the older woman’s head. “Maybe you can say that we are just friends or that you were just in shock.”

“Ha I doubt they’ll believe that, did you know that Aitana almost pushed me off you saying that you will probably want to see a more familiar face when you wake up.”

“Seriously? Well I quite like the face I woke up to, I think Aitana was a bit wrong about that.”

Lucy hummed as she scratched Onas’s head. Her fingers sliding thru her now free hair. Ona closed her eyes as she tried to enjoy the feeling of her girlfriend’s fingers in her hair, her head was pounding and she was going to take any relief she can get, she wasn’t able to take any medicine since the doctors still weren’t aware of everything that may be wrong with her head.

“Lucy, Ona the ambulance will be here in a few seconds so I`m just going to take my stuff from the other room before helping you to get in the ambulance. Is that ok with you Ona?” The doctor that left before they even started their conversation came back.

“Yea that’s alright I`ll wait here then”

The doctor nodded as she again left the room.

“Ok but before you go can I please get one kiss please?” Ona asked.

“Of course my love, I wanted to kiss you since I came in the room but I wasn’t sure how your head would take it” Lucy said as she brought her lips to Onas.

The kiss was incredibly gentle and soft since Lucy was scared of hurting Ona. The younger woman let out a soft sound before disconnecting their lips and then going for a small peck a second later.

The doctor came back into the room and slowly helped Ona to her feet so they could go. Lucy helped alongside the doctor as they slowly walked to the ambulance since Ona was still very dizzy. As they set Ona down, Lucy gently kissed her forehead before promising that she would see her soon and running back to the changing room. As soon as she walked into the changing room she felt everyone’s eyes on her. She knew that they had questions but Lucy was still panicked and they only reason she was so calm when she was with Ona was because she was forcing herself to be, she wasn’t sure she could have stayed that calm much longer. And because off that she stayed silent and ignored everyone, she quickly threw all her stuff in her bag and went to Ona side to throw all her stuff in the bag too, as she picked up Ona’s boots she felt tears run down her face, she softly cursed before stuffing that in the bags too. She hasn’t even changed before she took their stuff and was heading out the door. But then Alexia stopped her, Lucy knew that she owed them an explanation but she just couldn’t do that today, she wanted to see Ona. She NEEDED to make sure that Ona was for sure ok, and so she brushed past Alexia and started jogging to her car. Lucy got into her car and immediately broke down… she didn’t even realise that she was so scared. She cursed and hit the wheel while tears were streaming down her face again. As soon as she calmed down a bit she started driving home. She got out of her car threw their bags on the floor, quickly went to her room and changed. Before she left, she took one of her hoodies which she knew Ona loved to steel and few of Ona’s favourite snacks. Lucy was in the hospital not even 15 minutes later and asking the nurse if she could tell her where Ona was. In the end it looked like they put Ona in a room. The right back quickly thanked the nurse before hurrying up the stairs. Before she went in she gently knocked on the door and waited for someone to tell her to come in. Not a second later she could hear Ona call out her name. When she went in Ona was still in her kit and only her boots were gone. Ona gently smiled at her before making grabby hands to indicate that she wanted hugs. Lucy dropped her stuff on a chair before gently gathering Ona in her arms, she buried her head into Ona’s hair gently kissing her and breathing her scent in. They stayed like that for a few minutes and Lucy finally felt herself relaxing.

 She pulled back a bit so she could look Ona in the eyes and asked: “And what did they say, how come they put you in a room?”

“They said that luckily I only have a concussion but from what they see for now that I should be fine. They told me that I needed to stay so they could monitor me. It looks like I’ll be spending the night here. Oh and we are still waiting for a few test to come back so they can be sure that there isn’t any bleeding in the brain and all that.”

“But you’ll be fine right.”

“I should be ok yes. I didn’t realise you were so worried I’m sorry Luce.”

“Hey no apologizing it wasn’t your fault ok. I’m guessing that your head hurts and that you want to go sleep right. You look like you’re about to fall asleep.” Lucy said as she stroked her hair.

“Yea…” Ona quietly mumbled into her shirt where she buried her head in.

“Alright, I brought you some clothes so you can change and then you can sleep, ok?”

“Mhm”

Lucy gently pried herself away from Ona before taking the clothes and helping Ona change. The whole ordeal went slowly since Ona was drowsy and Lucy just felt the need to drop a few soft kisses here and there which made Ona giggle.

“Wait isn’t this your hoodie.”

“Well you are always stealing it and you say its your favourite so I thought why not bring it to you. But I can quickly go and grab another one if you want something else. Sorry.”

“No no Lucy thank you. God how are you so perfect I love you so much.”

Lucy brought the chair so she could sit besides Ona “I love you too superstar, why don’t you go to sleep now yea”

“Superstar? Mmm that’s a new one I like it” She said as she softly looked at Lucy her eyes lazily closing and opening.

“Yea?”

“Mhm makes me feel special” The younger woman mumbled.

“Well that’s good because you are really special to me.”

“I love you.” Ona said as she took Lucys hand into her own her eyes finally closing.

 “I love you to bubs. Go to sleep now.”

“Luce…”

“Yea”

“Stay with me?”

“Course my love.”

And with that Ona let her head tip to the side and went to sleep. Lucy gently moved her chair so she could rest her head on Ona’s thighs and softly started playing with Ona’s fingers which were still in her hand. Minutes passed and Lucy stayed still, just content to watch Ona rest. After an hour or two a doctor walked in. Lucy gently raised her head as to not and wake Ona up and looked at the doctor. She softly introduced herself and asked him if he could explain to her better what happened with Ona and if there were any news. The doctor explained everything and told her that the rest of the scans they were wating for all came back positive so for now they didn’t have to worry about anything. They wanted her to stay the night so they could make sure nothing went sought but chances of that happening were really small. He told her what she should do to ensure that the recovery goes well but also promised her that he would repeat everything tomorrow before they leave. Lucy thanked him and he left. Since it was getting late Lucy gently woke Ona up so she could eat something. They started eating the snacks Lucy brought from home and started chatting a bit.

“You know I’m surprised that they haven’t come here yet.” Lucy said.

“Who are you talking about.” Ona looked up from the pudding she was eating to stare at her girlfriend.

“You know our teammates…”

“Wait did you explain anything to them before you left?”

“No…” Lucy admitted all while looking incredibly guilty “I basically ignored them.”

“Lucy omg” Ona giggled.

“What! Oh come on you can’t blame me I was panicking and I really didn’t have the time nor the nerves to explain anything to them. I’m pretty sure everyone thinks I’m crazy now tho.”

“I know Luce, I’m sorry I’m not blaming you. And I want us to explain everything together anyway. But it is quite strange that they haven’t come here yet. Did you check your phone maybe they sent us messages.”

“Shit yea let me check. So, I have approximately at least 50 texts from everyone and you have at least 100. Probably should call your mum now.”

“I completely forgot about that, give me my phone so I can call her.”

“What no. I’m calling her you know you can’t look at screens when you have a concussion.”

Ona glared at her but still let her make the phone call, it was already 10 pm so the call didn’t last very long but Onas’s mother was happy to hear that Ona was ok and that Lucy was there to take care of her. By the time Lucy was done with informing everybody that Ona was in fact ok Ona was ready to go back to sleep, her eyes kept closing and she was 5 seconds away from sleep.

“Luce?”

“What’s up carino? You look tired maybe you should go back to sleep.”

“Yea I was just thinking about that, but when will you get back tomorrow.”

“What do you mean.” Lucy looked at her confused “Back from where?”

Ona looked a bit frustrated she thought that maybe she lost something in the translation, after all her English was not the best when she was tired.  “Like from home, when will you get back here in the morning”

“I… Ona I’m not going home what? I’m staying here with you.”

“Luce I’m fine now you can go home. You should go home actually, you need to sleep and probably eat something. I know that what we ate now is not enough for you especially after a game.”

“What no, I don’t care if you’re fine now I’m staying with you. And I can just eat tomorrow when we get home.”

“Lucy you need...”

Lucy quickly cut her off now fully glaring at her. “I’m not going home and that’s final now go to sleep.”

Ona relented she knew that when Lucy set her mind on something it was really hard to change it and right now she was to tired to try. And after all it warmed her heart and made her feel a bit safer that Lucy would choose to stay with her instead of going home. With that thought Ona fell asleep with a small smile on her face and Lucy fallowed soon after, her face on Onas’s thighs while holding her hand just like before.

(NEXT MORNING)

What Lucy didn’t see last night when she quickly went thru her texts is that her teammates planned to visit Ona in the morning. Alexia somehow negotiated with the nurse from the front desk to let them all go in the room, she barely managed to do it considering there was about 15 of them. Everyone who played yesterday came and some of the younger players also came with.

“Mapi calm down, some of the patients are maybe still sleeping.” Alexia whisper shouted while they were walking down the hall to get to Onas room. “Also does anyone know what happened with Lucy yesterday and where she is today, because I can’t get her on the phone.”

Everyone shook their head no. Nobody knew what to make out of yesterday, Lucy never acted like that when someone was injured but at the same time no one saw the two of them interact outside of training. Some of the players like Mapi and Pina suggested that maybe they were secretly dating but the rest of the team quickly threw that idea out of the window. There was no way that those two would work out, and while some players knew that Ona had a small crush on the older right back before, most of them figured out that Ona would either be too shy or awkward to make a move on Lucy and that Lucy would look at Ona as some of the younger players. At some point some of them even made bets about what is going on between those two. Alexia is a bit ashamed that she took part in the betting but she just couldn’t believe that those two were together and Mapi, Pina and Vicky all put a hundred dollars on the fact that Lucy and Ona were dating so Alexia figured out that it was a quick and easy way to get some money.

Soon they were outside Ona’s door and knocked to see if anyone was in. When they didn’t get an answer, they just assumed that Ona was sleeping and they came in. Alexia couldn’t believe what she was seeing, Lucy was just laying on Ona their hands interwind.

“Should… should we wake them up” The question came from Ingrid who had the same disbelieving look as Alexia.

“I mean yea probably.” Aitana said.

“Right… um let’s wake Lucy first.” Alexia guessed that she said that a bit too loudly since the moment the words came out of her mouth Ona started waking up.

“Wha… Omg Luce wake up. Um what are you guys doing here?” Ona nervously asked while gently shaking Lucy to wake her up.

“Ona what time is it, late me sleep.” Lucy didn’t even rise her head just simply buried her head even further into the blanket and Ona’s legs.

“Luce I swear to god get up.” And this time the warning came with a hit to the head.

“Ow, what’s wrong? Wait are you in pain I’m sorry what do you need?” With that Lucy was on her feet in a second not even paying attention to anything around her just Ona and what she might need. Ona sighed and almost smacked her own head with her palm before Lucy stopped her.

“Lucy look behind you.”

“What…oh um hi guys.” When Lucy looked behind her, she saw half of her team with their jaws dropped. “What are you doing here.”

“Well” started Alexia “someone got injured in a game yesterday and we basically got no updates from the medical team except that she is ok and in which hospital she is in. And someone else “she continued all while glaring at Lucy” basically disappeared the moment Ona got injured.”

“Right so um I’m ok, they kept me here just to make sure that I’m ok in the end. Lucy stayed with me and now I guess we are just wating for the doctor to come and release me.”

“Right…. And how come Lucy just stayed with you?” Cackled Mapi.

“Well uh…”

“Ok let’s cut the shit then, yes me and Ona are dating that’s it. I was that upset yesterday because my girlfriend whom I love was injured and I wanted to make sure she was ok and that is also the reason why I stayed.” Lucy was now a bit irritated. She knew that their relationship was surpassing but to wake them up while Ona was injured and demand answers, well it was getting on her nerves a bit. “Does anyone have anything to say.”

Everyone was quiet until Mapi just broke into a big grin and said “Well it looks like you all owe me, Pina and Vicky a hundred euros.”

“Wait what” Ona tried to say but her question was drowned out by everyone complaining and pleading with Mapi. All this noise was starting to give her a headache since she had a concussion and when she looked towards Lucy she saw that she was also in shock. Ona quickly tugged on Lucys sleeve and gave her a pleading look hoping that she would understand what she means. Luckly for her Lucy understood and with a quick but sharp “Be quiet!” shut everyone up. Lucy turned towards Alexia who was standing in the middle of the group with guilt attached all over her face.

“Alexia explain” She growled.

“Right um well yesterday we were all confused with your rection to Ona getting hurt and since you weren’t answering your phone and no one had any answers we started speculating… and in the end we made a bet. Mapi, Pina and Vicky guessed that you were together but we all didn’t believe it. And yea that’s basically it.”

“So you basically bet if we were in a relationship or not instead of just asking us.” Ona asked now a bit upset but mostly amused. “How much money did you lose?”

“Everyone has to give 100 euros”

At that Lucy simply laughed “Well that might teach you not to bet on people’s personal lives”

“Right, but wait come on since when are you guys together? No body even suspected it until now and you guys’ barley interact while we train”

Now it was the couples turn to look a bit sheepish and embarrassed. Ona started explaining how they met at Lucy Stanford’s weeding and how it all kind of went from there, Lucy cut in here and there to add some details but she was mostly staring at Ona with a love sick smile.

“Wait” now Patri cut in “so you’ve been together for what a year.”

“It will be a year in 2 months yes.” Lucy said.

“Why didn’t you guys tell us, you know that we wouldn’t judge you right?”

“Well at first we wanted to tell you but then we realised that we kind of liked the privacy of no one knowing so we decided not to say anything for at least a while.”

“And I was wondering why Lucy was on her phone so much during camp all smiley. Honestly, I’m surprised we or at least I didn’t figure out that you guys are together. You loke absolutely in love. I’m happy for you guys.” This was the first time Kiera spoke up but she did look genuinely happy for the couple.

“Thanks Kei that means a lot. Do you mind if we talk a bit later?” Lucy said, now both Ona and her had small blushes on their cheeks.

“You know I don’t mind Luce”

“Alright now that everyone knows everything you might want to go home, because I can see that Ona is getting a headache and the doctor will be here soon.”

“Yea we’ll go, but you guys have to host a team bonding night and explain everything in detail deal.” Alexia said while ushering everyone outside. “Yea yea now get lost.”
