I'm talking about the two dsmp mcyt fics? the si-fi ones with such a real and expansive world it transcends the original inspiration? Yea.

Now imagine that, but riptide, like take just an inspiration from the original and go nuts, also get angst involved, gotta have that angst.

I remember seeing an incomplete fic where chip n jay crashed on a planet of just water where they'd meet gillion. However it was barely beyond a chapter and so I'd appreciate some fic recs with similar vibe to that, even better if someone would like to pic up this idea.
