fuck it. be creative even if you never really *make* anything. write out plot synopses of stories and then move on. design OCs you'll never use. make mood boards and concept art and don't do anything with them. life's too short to forget everything that inspired you and creation doesn't have to be "complete" to be worth the time you put into it.
sometimes you try really hard and there’s nothing to show for it. you’re trying your best but from the outside it’s hard to know. but remember your efforts are just as real and valid and i’m proud of you.
You can always start again. Clean out your social media. Create a new account for your new taste in music. Study or work in a new city. Start socialising with new people. Choose a new signature scent and style and purge the outdated parts of yourself. If you don’t like where you’re at, but you don’t know what to do about it - try starting again.

stop defining yourself by what you lack. you are not the absence of qualities, you’re the presence of them.
you’re putting magic into the world with every stitch you make, every painting you create, every note you play, every word you write. everything you create and put out into the world will touch or inspire someone. everything you keep to yourself will be special and personal, like a mosaic piece of yourself that will last forever. all the little things you created into the world will like a museum exhibit of your existence, and your own love letter to the universe.
here’s a secret: you’re not annoying, I promise! even when you talk about your feelings, even when you ramble on about that thing you found that makes you so happy, even when you need space and have to take time for yourself. you are always loved, even when you feel like you’re at your lowest. no one is judging you for thinking about yourself sometimes. you’re not selfish for taking care of yourself.
