Platonic yandere Mitsuri and Obanai with teen reader who’s also a demon slayer

Mitsuri and Obanai got married a little while ago, but always felt like a piece of them where missing. Until they saved a kid about 11 years old from a demon. That kid was Y/n. Y/n then got adopted by them soon after and was taught how to use breathing styles so they could protect themselves incase Mitsuri or Obanai couldn’t be there to protect them.

Y/n misunderstood though and thought that they were training to be a demon slayer. Even though they were locked up in the house all day. They soon started to feel like a disappointment. They had mastered both techniques and still weren’t going to take the final test.

They then decided that they would run away, take the test, then become a hashira to prove that they weren’t a disappointment to there family. So they left without telling anyone where they were going. The next time there parents saw them, they’d be a hashira, and a strong one non the less. They where about 14 when they got a chance to leave.

A month after passing the final exam they met Tanjiro and became friends with him and Nezuko during a mission. They kept meeting during missions, soon they joined Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. There plan didn’t go how they wanted it to go though. The next time they saw there parents was during Tanjiro and Nezukos trial, when they saved Nezuko from being stabbed by Sanemi. They land right in front of Mitsuri.

“Y/n?!?” Mitsuri squeaked, jumping to grab them, and drag them back to her house were her and Obinai could doont over them and protect them from everything.

Fuck, mom! Y/n thought as they heard there name being called by the love Hashira, aka there mom.

“Y/n. What are you doing here? And where the hell have you been the past year!” Obanai says is a harsh voice suddenly appearing right behind us.

“SHIT!! Tanjiro you’re on your own!!! I trust you’ll find me again!!!” Y/n screams as they sprint out of there without Nezuko (so she could have her trial and show them she is a good demon) as fast as they can, to go grab there stuff and leave.

Y/n was almost cought by Obanai but master Ubuyashiki showed up and he had to pay his respects and couldn’t leave. The same thing happened with Mitsuri. After everything happened there, the other hashira and Tanjiro Zenitsu and Inosuke where told about Y/n and if they ever see them bring them to Mitsuri or Obanai. They were not going to let you escape them again the next time they saw you.

You were now 15, they need to make up for all the lost time with you, no matter how long it took. At the least they know you are alive now, and will never stop looking for you even if it take one hundred year to find there sweet child again.

Obanai is the type of yandere who will observe you from afar, he does not take action

However, in this scenario, let's say he does

He isn't as needy as Sanemi, thankfully, but he does like your attention

He is really insecure about his face, and hasn't even let you see it, but he lets you change him and take care of his wounds and stuff

He's not one for physical affection, he's more of a gift-giver and words-of-affirmation person

You can't count how many times he's given you small gifts

If Obanai is resting in the Butterfly Mansion, he'll give you Kabumaru and says something along the "So he can watch over you" when in reality it's Kabuamaru can scare off trashy patients

Kabuamaru has bitten a guy who got too comfortable with you

Obanai stands firm in his belief that his snake did the right thing

He hates females, as you know (But if you are female or identify as female you are the exception, but for now, you are gender-neutral)

He can only stand you and Shinobu taking care of him because he gets sick at anyone else

Obanai is ranked as the second hardest pillar to talk to, so whenever he's around you, not many get close

"Kabuamaru! You can't bite my patients!"

He chuckled for the rest of the day when his snake bit a 'trashy male' as he called it

You, however, did not find it funny

"Obanai, that wasn't funny, he could've gotten seriously hurt."

"I'm just protecting you, and he deserved it for committing the crime of daring to piss me off, and trying to flirt with you. That trash is lucky that's all I did."

"You are so lucky I love you."

He only hummed in response, but Kabu slid onto your shoulder, and rubbed his head against your cheek, showing its affection.
