Some photos from the past weekend! I gotta say I've been digging fomopan, even if my camera messes up the exposure sometimes 💀
Fomo 100 Classic, Yashica 200-AF, Yashica AF 35-70mm f3.5
a few days ago i bought a cheap, strange, red, plastic, yashica 35mm camera in chandni chowk, old delhi. every camera store seemed to have one (you can see a few on the shelf in one of these photos), but i can't even find it's existence online. anxious to see if it actually worked, i quickly shot a roll and had it developed.
the developing and scanning wasn't of great quality, but images there were! here are a few hastily iphoto-ed shots from my newest photographic extension.
I broke my new red Yashica last week... I thought it unrevivable.
Just needed a little duct tape (that I had taped to my journal for good luck before this trip) to fix it. There's a light leak, these scans are god-awful, and I hastily shot this roll with no reserve. Still, I think I'm satisfied.
Accidental double exposure: Elephant festival in Jaipur, and sleeping on the way to Gangotri.
This roll of 35 got pretty messed up yielding some pretty cool results. I like it a lot. But what I can't figure out is this strange stuff on the film... you can see a bit of it in each photo here if you look at them big. It looks like a double-exposure of some texture, but it's not. Is it mold? dust? any thoughts?? I'd like to try to replicate and control this strange matter!
