I remember groundhog day being super fun at school and this one friend being so proud that her birthday was on the second of February. We did groundhog crafts and snacks. Adults tend to have it as a little joke.

"Hey what did Phil say the weather will be?"

"Early spring this year!"

But they're always so happy when they talk about it. Even at my work. It's silly and probably mostly for the kids, but it's one of the little holidays that brings a lot of us joy.
