CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY BUT SWEET TOO

Maison Ikkoku's gang all reunited at a bar table sitting on a corner sofa while Godai is having a cough attack and trying to cover his mouth as best as he can with his hands. Yotsuya protects a tray from any possible germ by lifting it up above his head.

Godai is still coughing. Meanwhile though Kyoko stands behind him slightly bent over soothing him by striking gently his back

And you can immediately guess right that the arm sneaking up is Yotsuya's

Frame from Maison Ikkoku. At the cinema. Kyoko is absorbed by the movie. At her left, Godai, is noticing an arm stretched out from the seats right behind them and nicking a handful of popcorn from his own pack.

A cartoony black-and-white illustration of Godai and Yotsuya from Maison Ikkoku. Godai is a young Japanese man with a rounded face, thick floofy short hair, and thick eyebrows, wearing a sweater over a collared shirt. Yotsuya is an adult Japanese man with short-cut, slicked-back black hair, thick eyebrows, narrow eyes, and a long thin face, wearing a suit and tie. They're sitting together in a restaurant booth (Chachamaru, from the series) with drinks in their hands. Godai has paused in raising his drink to his mouth with a befuddled, slightly perturbed expression, realizing that Yotsuya is ruffling his hair. Yotsuya sips his drink facing away from Godai, completely unconcerned.

Another indulgence during group sketch time. I love the dynamic between these two goofs.

Bonus featuring @micaxiii photobombing as usual XD

Same as previous with one addition: another artist has drawn a tiny, chibi version of themself sitting on Godai's other side, clutching a bottle twice their height labeled "Bepsi" and gazing off into the distance with dead eyes, thinking "Man I wish someone was gay with me"

Maison Ikkoku Free Holder Calendar 1989

I managed to restore a bit the official artworks of this old Maison Ikkoku calendar, these images are practically impossible to get in a better quality than this.
