Headcannon that once mabel and dipper went back, they feel uncomfortable by the lack of weirdness ya know? Like they got used to the weirdness and strangeness of their summer (and also the apocalypse) that they feel.. out of touch of their current peers. The bullies, scared for their life, runs away from them. The new kids are confused about it, they turn around to find the twins with comforting smiles as friendship slowly formed.

(not knowing what the bullies saw, they received the twins glare, their eyes unnaturally glowing blue and yellow, around them flickering of lights, light floating of stuff around the twins and their shadow seems to be reflecting a Triangle with one eye in the middle. They fr gonna have nightmares)
