I've tried writing a novel many times in my previous years, but each time ended with "Fuck it, this is dumb" at around fifth or fourth chapter. Knowing that Taylor wrote an entire 300 page novel at thirteen makes me feel so stupid. One thing I've learned is that creativity is a lot about overcoming the fear of disapproval.
