Thank you, Sophie! I hope you're having a good evening too! I'm excited to share my stuff with you! It's hard balancing my tmbs and wolf359 fics at once, but here's something I'm working on for Jacobi readjusting to being back on Earth:

“I can’t go to most places on my own. At least not for the next few years. Don’t forget, the last time I talked to a guy in the bar, he bought me expensive whisky and talked me into joining an evil space company. What am I supposed to do, walk up to people on the street and be like “oh hi, wanna hang out, these are my friends who have to stay with me the whole night, and the only other option is for us to be followed around by that creepy guy in the corner watching us, who’s actually a government employee. It might seem weird that they have to be here with me, and it is, but see, I used to kill people and blow stuff up for a living, and I was really, really, good at it, so now they need to make absolutely sure I don’t do it again.””

“You wouldn’t have to say it like that,” sighed Lovelace.

“You’re right,” agreed Jacobi. “I could just make them pinky-promise not to google my name. That’s a green flag if I’ve ever heard one.”
