the waiting for something, anything to change, for someone to notice and come save you because you cant do it yourself. 

compared to

the fall cannot come without the rise

one day i’ll be able to do it myself

just thinking about how breathtaking the change in identity of YCGMA to fronting a band named lovejoy. as someone faced with depression, it is a wild breath of hope that one day a person can become so loving and joyful as to make music about living instead of waiting.
