Funny story
Your dumbass went and broke your ankle when you tripped and fell down the porch steps at your bestie’s house
Zabdiel wasn’t present luckily
You actually don’t tell him until your ankle is broken until you get home from the doctors with your crutches and say, “hey, wanna sign my cast?!”

“Why didn’t you tell me? Que pasó?” He says as he literally walks over, PICKS you up bridal style, and carries you over to the couch.
“It’s not that big of a deal!”
“Sí, lo es! Te rompiste el tobillo!”
When Spanish takes over English you know he’s upset.
When you tell him what happened and how you fell down the porch steps you expect him to laugh but he just looks more shocked.
“You didn’t even call me?”
The hurt in his features makes you regret EVERYTHING and you kiss his cheek.
“Zabdi, lo siento. No quiería preocuparte.”
“It’s okay, but you’re not walking at all for weeks.”
He proves this
Literally carries you to the bathroom
Cooks you dinner
Helps you get dressed
Your crutches are essentially useless.
When you lay on the couch he always has a pillow underneath your ankle.
Treats you like you’re dying
To which you complain
But you actually love the attention but would never admit it
Zabdiel LOVES taking care of you so much and constantly admits it

Every day is filled with movies, delicious meals, and LOTS of Zabdiel attention
Eventually, you stop complaining and just accept the special treatment cause it’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen
When he does decide to sign your cast, he signs it on the back so you can’t actually read it until it’s removed.
When it is removed you literally cry at what he wrote.
