just a thought about zantetsu:

zantetsu may not be smart on paper, but i like to headcanon him as someone who is emotionally intelligent? like he would definitely get some words wrong, but his perception is scarily accurate

for example, let’s say reo (hypothetically) actually talked to zantetsu about nagi prior to NEL

reo: i still feel like he doesn’t want me around, and i don’t think i’ll be ever good enough for a genius like him. it feels like he’s gone far beyond the horizon, and i’m left behind in the dust.

zantetsu: be it may, or… it may be— have you consoled the thought of ever… speaking with nagi? commonality is good to be of use of…
