What's going on in my head while thinking abt my fave rockstars
People who took these photos/the light techs for these shows deserve an award
I legitimately think ratm at pinkpop '93 might be my favorite show of all time
The following might be a hot take but hear me out
Ofc ratm, Soundgarden and led zep aren't comparable genre wise but their some of my favorite bands, and I think among them ratm has the best live show
While Soundgarden and zep perform AMAZINGLY live and are absolutely up to par with the studio recordings, ratm live to me is even better than in the studio.
It's just so different in the live setting where you can HEAR their improvisations and SEE the passion, esp with Zack where he's basically baring his teeth ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

'93 ratm is the peak of swag to me (it also helps that theyre fine af 👀)
(also last note fistfull of steel live is so slept on with the dedication at the start and the "let me do the cuttin'" part)
